Well I disagree on that one Ras I go shout for shout. The reason why is I don't want man thinking because he is buying me drinks all night that he is getting all funky with me later.

I agree with claayer on this one, if i ask a guy to dinner though it's usually to my house for a homecooked meal...

If you are paying for the date and she still expects you to pay the sitter, you are being taken for a ride, my friend.
JuleeBeth: I am old school and still like it when a guy pays for the first date. I don't expect it to be an expensive outing. Something simple is fine with me.
In Sweden, it is rude to pay for the first date or dinner or whatever. The women really insist on splitting the bill...and they will not ake no for an answer. Everybody splits....I had to convince my ex to let me pay for the date...I just felt too uncomfortable splitting the bill when I offered to take her out. I am old school in that sense.
