I´ve never suffered with extreme sress thankfully, but my workload does take it´s toll at times.
I find going out with close friends for dinner, a few drinks and, because they are good friends and happy to listen, talking about my "woes", I can put things into perspective and feel much better.
Bronze33: How do you usually handle stress? Do you find healthy ways to deal with it or do you give in to less than healthy ways?

No really, it wears off by itself after a while - if one is aware of the stress, and not getting caught up in the web that causes it, then I find it ceases - although sometimes easier said than done - exercise helps tremendously to quiet the mind, to get really good rest, combined with some kind of mental disconnection works wonder.
