Yes, I have seen men cry. I have seen it firsthand under combat situations in Vietnam at the loss of a fellow Marines. I personally have cried in many different circumstances. At the loss of close friends; at the loss of my little sister 2 weeks after graduating high school; at the loss of my grandmothers (both), and especially at the loss of my mother!
Also I shed tears during happy times, when I was in the delivery room for both my daughters and even more so when my son was born. What greater gift do we receive than our children and to be able to be there at that moment, to receive them in our hands and hold them close to your heart as they breathe their first few breaths of new life. Noting is greater and noting can bring a man more happiness.
I have to admit I have watched a few movies that moved me to shed a tear or two or three. Any man that has no emotion to move him to shed a tear is not a real man at all. If you still have your mother or father, ask them.
It is not a shame for a man to cry. We are just as human as the next person and it is a natural human function. I assure you I am ALL man and have fought and almost died fighting for my country. I will stand up against any man out there. Shedding tears is not at all unmanly. If you think it is, you simply don't know what you are talking about!
