I think we already seen the pic and found it attractive,by going into the profile it means you wana find out what they think of themselves or how they express who they are .... The age, weight, location, profession, marital status and kids come later ....
Ps: I can easily fall inlove a person with a fantastic personality (it brings out his soul) and that is what I would be looking for, is "that beautiful soul" JMO

Possibly most of the above but it is a subconcious decision. I get a vibe of a photo and tagline. Of course I am probably judging by looks but I hope in the way that is saying she looks nice or warm then the tagline will show some of her personality and whether I am encouraged to read further or not. After that would probably think in terms of what we have in common, age, looks , situation etc.------ This poll is Archived ------
Even though looks wouldn't be high on my priorities meeting someone the pic is what catches your eye first. Then things like age, does his profile sounds reasonably intelligent and is not full of spelling mistakes, and what kind of relationship he is looking for.

Attractiveness N Attitude before making decisions was my answer as well what they are looking for. I don;t worry quite as much about that as most have no clue what they want till they find it...

Usually read the profile to see what kind of interests etc the person has. If somebody just has a photo up and nothing wrote on their profile well it usually gives the impression that they are all about looks themselves :)

I've only been on the site a few weeks. Never bothered to have a look at the Profile reviews. Must check that out.

I look to make sure they don't smoke. I can't handle cigar, cigarette or pipe smoke on a person's breath. It makes me very ill...

I look to see how many pictures are there and if they look like REAL pictures or not...if they look staged/posed/you know what i mean, i wont look at the profile any further

first thing I notice is if there's any red flags in the photos (other women, drinking or smoking) or narrative (inconsistencies, foul language )

texasgent222: Not to sound superficial but in all sincerity I always hone in on the attractiveness of the individual first and foremost. That's what draws my initial interest and propels me to check out the rest of their profile.
And then after we read the profile, 9 times out of 10 it's.....
