codeine based over the counter products there is people who cant function without a solpadeine kick in the morning.
basically the drugs that keep the majority of people on this land going..but the above are harder to kick and socially acceptable.
wouldnt want my kids on anything ideally.

Phoenix: I agree HC. Most people think becauue it's bought over the counter then it's safe. When a lot of times they are more addictive and harmful than so called 'drugs'..

have you heard about Krokodil a heroin substitute that Russian addicts have been using this past few years..it can be made from over the counter products..active ingredient is codeine from Painkillers and addicts mix it with ingredients including Petrol...paint thinner.. hydrochloric acid..iodine and red phosphorous.. which they scrape from the striking pads on matchboxes....3 times cheaper than Heroin but the results are horrendous..it eats away flesh

salanky: some people have had bad experiences in their lives related to addiction of various types and dont want that in their life again. maybe she looked at it that because you had done it before and enjoyed it at the time that if things got really bad you could go back, or maybe she lost someone close to her because of it

doesnt matter to me if he enjoyed it or not all im saying is that maybe there were underlying issues for her that he obviously didnt know about when it came to drugs I never took any of that stuff, I don't smoke and I do like the odd drink but not being drunk. I had my share of wild nights and great fun and never needed to drown / throw in anything for that. And at this stage, I'm glad I never bothered.
I'm not judging anyone, I just never had the feeling I needed it. Had to take morphine after an operation for a while years ago and just hated that floating feeling and being out of my mind...

I do basically the same. If I'm at a party and someone throws down a few grammes, I'll put a line up each nostril. The odd time posting here I'm toking a joint and having a glass of wine.
When I link up with some heads back home like yourself we get drunk for a few days and suffer afterwards (lets face it we aren't 21 any more).

I took one puff each of 2 seperate joints, once when I was 15 and once when I was 31 got nothing from it at all and would never do it again. Tried smoking cigerettes one day when I was 16 and didnt get anything from it so never did it again. Rarely drink alcohol. I do like coffee and chocolate though I'm such a rebel

Celtic, try making tea from weed or space cakes and you'll be flying. By mixing it with a ciggarette you are doing more damage to yourself than a simple ciggie alone.

What are you currently on Pedro? Morphine after an operation because they couldn't handle the pain medication otherwise.
No, never needed it, had great times heading out and none of my friends were in it, too, which I think is the reason why I never got into it. As I said, I do like a couple of drinks but I don't like getting plastered out of my mind.
And every time I had problems I had other ways of dealing with it then throwing something in.

I'm big against weed/hash I have seen too many people close to me get paranioa from it and nerve problems. I'm not interested in getting high on weed I like a glass of wine probably about 2 glasses a month and that does me. Each to their own

Pedro, opiates taken in their pure form do not harm. Apart from make you sleep. The problem comes when the drug is cut to make a profit.

i disagree in my books the drug heroin is ten times worse than any drug or drink known to man

in war and you get your legs blown off, they give u a shot of it, and it stops the pain a wonderful drug when used proper.cocane is the same when not abused, its a wonder drug but only in the medical world
