yeah they do get pain killers though we try to use the lowest strength ones we can so the likes of the morphine is usually kept for orthopaedic injuries/operations. could never understand why people want to take ketamine though its a horrible drug judging by the reactions of the various animals we give it to, doesnt look like a good trip to me dunno

With out going into detail you try having major surgery on your chest for 5 hours and not need something for the pain.
Last time was appendix and was only a small dose that done it to me so fingers crossed no hospitals for a while sigh

i think the people who take herion , they use it to escape there own reality of there world what they see, i would say that would be one of many reasons to 'why' they take it

Yeah I agree and I have never taken drugs that were not given to me by a doctor, even then I try not to over medicate.

Anything in excess is bad for you but chocolate and street drugs are hardly the same. In saying that I don't look down on anyone that has used drugs or still continues to its their choice just as its my choice to have chocolate or wine when I want. However I see in a few years an increase in mental health problems among the teenagers of today many are using street drugs to serious excess and there is consequences when the brain is still growing at their age.

I wish people like you Pedro could go to schools and tell these kids what is ahead of them if they take street drugs. Its so sad to see a teenager or adult suffer mental health issues in the aftermath of drug use sad flower

salanky: some people have had bad experiences in their lives related to addiction of various types and dont want that in their life again. maybe she looked at it that because you had done it before and enjoyed it at the time that if things got really bad you could go back, or maybe she lost someone close to her because of it

Meh. Nothing I was doing was really addictive though and I never treated it that way. Was something you'd do for the right occasion. Was a blast at the time, and when I wanted to stop I could. She showed pure ignorance and small mindness on a bunch of things. There is no 'go back' with the likes of weekend E. It's not like cigarettes, heroine or booze. Some people might get psychologically addicted. Always looking for the high. But the physical addiction isn't really there like cigarettes for example.

when i look back i listened to people's advise but i did'nt take there advise on board, that was the problem.

but yes i have advised some teens not to take drugs weather they take the advise and apply to there lifes would be the main thing.

some people are perdisposed for a mental issue, weather they take a drug or not, but drugs increase the chances of developing a seroius mental problem and some times it's for life, it can only be treated and not cured in many cases

Was never really interested in 'illegal' drugs to be honest. Had a couple of spliffs and it changed me so never went back.

I don't understand how people can think Alcohol is a worse drug than Heroin though. Sure it effects more people but that's because it's more widely used. From my experience I have not seen the majority of heroin users being able to enjoy the drug without letting it have a profound effect on their lives, whereas most people who use alcohol use it sensibly. Maybe it's just me.
Nicotine is the most addictive of the lot.

Thats not true. Most naturally grown drugs when taken in their natural form do no harm to your health or development. The problem is simply because they are cut with crap to make profits.

People with mental health issues will have them even they don't take 'drugs'.

Unfortunatly Pedro most teenagers dont listen untill its too late just like I didnt listen about dangers of drinking when I was young. Luckily I had a child early so that kicked sense into me and I stopped drinking for pregnancy and many years after. I was always afraid of taking hard drugs because I was with a guy who had manic depression and he started taking drugs heavily it turned him into a monster. Seriously frightening to see someone change so much because I drugs.
