Nikogas: Hi Jack, I really appreciate your honesty, I truly would never have guessed you would say that. But, I have traveled to places that have been in changes like the Philippines and Hungary,,,Macedonia...In Hungary I spoke a lot with a man that lived most of his life in the Communist era,,,and I found that he preferred it and said it worked better for him..he is a very intelligent man and part of Nato. I believe he is a scientist as well..I know that he was sent to the USA after one of our major Hurricanes to do some technical work. I really liked talking with him. Thanks Jack. I think that I have always accepted that the world can not all be the same everywhere. I do strive for less killing but even that is not going to disappear too soon as far as I can tell.

WhatUwish4: I totally agree - but there are some "logical" things that can be done which would help. I hope we see them happen soon, or we are in for a world of trouble.

Not many alligators where I live, but bears, coyotes, bobcats nd SNAKES! At the risk of high-jacking your thread even more...all the more reason to keep a gun around the barn.

I have to run now, but back soon!

Thanks for indulging my curiosity. You are right about the "benefits" that can help. I sure hope that is the direction that takes preference.
and yes!! be safe from the wild ones.

You have seen more of this country than I have Jack! LOL. You made me think of another thing that I wonder if there will be changes in entry to the USA after this election. Everything is always in a state of change,,,even when it seems to take a long time, some days all of a sudden your life can be turned around as if you just walked down a new street that has been there your whole life.

I have a feeling your poll is not going to be accurate because there is no way to eliminate the international vote, which is heavily skewed to Obama. Nothing you can do about that, that I know of...dunno

Oh I agree 100 percent. the only thing it did seem to show was that it would be close. And right now it is very close and still two major states that will make a big difference,,,California (which favors Obama) and Florida ( which is close with Obama leading but Romney could take it if he gets almost all the remaining votes there.

now Obama has 173 and Romney still 163 with 202 more up for grabs!

oops,,,I dozed off and now it is Obama 173 and Romney at 189 and 176 left for grabs. California is worth 55 and is expected Obama. SO Romney better grab what he can,,and that Florida is worth 29 and a tossup for now.
oh the numbers are tight like I thought.

LOL,,,well my poll was pretty accurate for a basic little poll. Hope this works out. LIke I said,,,people here need to pull together. it was pretty close but at the end it was just not going to happen for Romney.
Sorry to you WuW4, I guess we are going to have to see what this next 4 years are like....maybe Obama will do some of the important things that need to be done. I kinda doubt it but there are so many things that need fixing,,,,if he could just get the basement straightened out and clean up the attic maybe we could manage. after Oregon kicked in that put Obama at 275 and Romney still at 203......Obama still has Colorado and nevada,,possibly Florida as well...that one was so close....but those dont matter now, Obama is still in, Dude will get the tour of the white house...I still think he should pay you for all the campaigning you did Dude. Write him a letter and have him pay for a CS worldwide get together,,,"Meet the people You hate and Love so much get together"!!!! That is the ticket. LOL..

Epirp...I did not thank anyone. I said that Obama should. Hey,,,just because my poll went the way of Obama is not because I had anything to do with it. My poll was/is a one vote per person poll. I appreciate everyone that posted here and though I was not really so happy about the end result I am here and want to live in peace. I don't know why you would even say something about India running a better election than ours. I don't think that there is anything wrong with this election. maybe I will hear of something but people voted and they did it all pretty fast I thought....that is a lot of votes to count.

I know you wanted this really bad Dude. like I said to Epirb, I accept the outcome and just hope some good comes from it, Obama was not who I personally voted for but this is the way it works. I just hope that people will start to work together like they should after a grown up civilized election. I would like to hear what the speech is from them but I will have to wait till it comes out on Betamax.

You fought hard Dude,,,,I wonder if it made any difference.....I know it did to you....but remember fo rthe future to make those pollls so people can only vote once. You know that one poll you made where Obama was way high in numbers? well. that was like a few people...same with the 88,000 Romney votes. Look at mine..it is small,,but it was correct
