I have the time alright, but see no reason why I should...As I stated,I´m pan-Christian,not a believer.....I do believe in many things,-like rationalism,empirism,nationalism,-but those codes of honour,-have been,or tried,-to be replaced with the opposites,-and that is not what the European working/middle classes asked for.....,so therefore resistance is everywere....

The point is India emerging as a big power in the region.Poverty,of course is an issue, right now between the 2 countries, though India is doing much better, becoming an emerging power in the region.

I don't think one super power emerging would be a good thing. A balance of power or shared power would be my preference.

poverty and over population - both China and India has a huge amount of people, and more people means a need for more resources.

Always remember Jack, No matter who is a majority, You will always be 100% yourself and as will be your family. Same for me, even though I am less and less as a group, I am the 100% as a individual. no more and no less. When I am dead then I will not be concerned with this place anymore.

interesting statistics..... I was watching a documentary of china and the preference toward boy babies instead of girls and the families that were turning their female babies into orphanages, so they could have a boy.... it must have been a long time ago - cultures are a mystery to me.

India is doing much better than Pakistan ali,in everything in general, but mostly its economy is in the news very often. So claiming that "India is not doing anything" is null and void.

Well Jean one thing that would be in their (india) favor would be to be part of the "Visa Waiver Program" That is up to the USA. At this time last I looked there was 37 Countries and India was not on it. Also there is what they call "Road Map Countries" these are countries that are interested in being on that list, India is not on that list either. Of course there is a few different kinds of Visas and if you talk to anyone that goes through normal channels it is a very long and expensive process. Each country is different in consideration. So internally India might make some allowances but for instance the typical I-130 wait for a Immigration of a family member from Foreign Countries is about s year wait. Other Visas like Work and School and visitation visas would have a downside in that we are talking of having Children, If I am understanding you correctly. Now for China and pregnancies it is not so old news. And I saw the program about "travel" Packages being advertised just catering to pregnant women so they could have more than one child and yes! If they can have only one the preference has been to have a male. Now Last year the Chinese Government started to consider allowing a second child so I don;t know how that will effect those "special" vacations. Seems everyone has a trick up their sleeve.
These Countries below are the ones being considered to being added to the Visa Waiver Program last I checked. At this time there may have been some changes.
Bulgaria
Croatia
Cyprus
Poland
Romania
Turkey
Argentina
Brazil
Chile
Uruguay
Israel
