and let me tell u almost 37yrs and i can still count 5 true friends

Well, it has been said that if you can count your friends on 1 hand you are very lucky. By that I presume they mean people who will back you up, find money for you, never let you down. I KNOW I could find more than 5.............how lucky I am.

I have had an experience here in CS. Met a guy October 2011, had a mutual understanding from October to December 2011, then gone without saying any word. I was devastated of course, hurt, depressed. Then out of the blue appear in my mail, (November 2012) until now, and texting me on phone. He said hello once again, and also stated he left without saying goodbye because he felt the thing between us the last time was very intense. I do not know what he meant by that. Well, I didn't ask too much.
Time means nothing to real friends, one minute, one hour,one year, friendship isn't determined by time or distance apart but by how you relate to each other, friendship is timeless.

Or do you mean a friend, like the girl you talked to sometimes in the cafeteria at school with last year?
Or do you mean a woman you went on a date with once or twice, but stopped calling because she just wasn't interesting?
Or do you mean a woman you slept with several times but one day she just stopped coming by and didn't return phone calls?
Or do you mean your best friend, someone you dated for years and one day when you went to her house, she had moved away without any real explanation?
They all get different responses, so which one do you mean?

I'd give him/her a chance--you never know what might have happened. However, I wouldn't allow it to become habitual. JMO

There are very few "friends" from my past that I would not trust. I find most people trustworthy until they are faced with their own personal difficulties, then their circumstances dictate how they behave.
