I think we want the funny yet strong indiviual that entitles to them to the position of "man of the house" or any other title bestowed upon them. "cool" is a loose term to use. And I think that term went out of style in the 80's-90's? Lol We want stable, honest, dependable, and strong men...not "cool"

I can assure you that here where I live, we do not wish to be like that. We want an educated man for stimulating conversation, a trustworthy man that we can go to with anything, and a man who takes pride in his family. Nothing barbaric...

It would be deceiving and a waste of time for both(as lovers). Then again, it could turn into a beautiful soulful friendship which is much much better, richer and deeper than mundane *ordinary* love and romance.

You want all things, at least this is what you will say. In reality rogueish ladyslayers and charismatic cads are anything but dependable or honest, but yes they are strong in a sense that they are independent and don't supplicate: A strong man will be do far better with women than a kind man.
You want the alpha male, or at the least, an alphaish male. But too many alphas spoil the broth: civilisation needs a good number of beta males to keep things ticking over because they don't commit so much crime, they follow orders, and they get a sensible job. Now that women have gained eocnomic independence(by raping tomorrow)she has no use for the nice guy with the sensible job. And this is one reason why we can't have nice things anymore.

I want a strong man who is gentle and nice. I don't mean brut strength or the "bad boy". I want an everyday average joe who is a family man. Not some hood rat. Strength had many faces. I personally choose nice and committed over jail birds any day.

both. I'm a tad shallow too but not giving anyone a chance because your not into their looks? That's just no. Sometimes you should, have to. I came across a guy who's so not my type, a blonde haired guy, and such a different personality but for some reason I am attracted to him, being pulled toward him for whatever reason. It doesn't mean your not attracted to them, and never will be. I don't think the idea, I really don't. It seems so different to me now, of course I am trying to be mature and let go. It's probably better in that way. So while he's not a blonde and far different personality then what I like, I think he's a bit like me. A little bit, he's also quite different of course but yeah.

I was just going to say that!!! Yes in my discovery, women have to be independent because too many men are taking advantage of us. We can no longer depend on a man to make a home stable...it is another job left up to the woman. I'd give anything to find the right man...one who can communicate, has common sense, is stable, and works! I'm a very simple person, I really don't ask too much.
