Just because a person holds a grudge does not mean they are a "black and white" thinker and there are a million different answers besides yes or no. Like, for example, when people do bad things to me, I can be friends with them again after a certain amount of time, but I never lose eight of the fact that they did something bad once. Some people do things that are so bad that there is not a ghost of a chance that they can ever be forgiven. And, nobody would forgive them either.------ This poll is Archived ------

For me to hold a grudge over another, I find that this just drags me down as a person
I deal with a problem normally face-to-face, directly and assertively and also listen to the other person's point of view
discuss and work out if possible (think it is best to try then not at all)...if not, move on and learn from the experience and use it as a valuable guideline in the future
rather live my life without carrying the overload of baggage from grudges with me

im glad to see im not the only one lol i dont let it eat me up though, but if someone seriously hurt or wronged me i wouldnt forgive and if i saw an opportunity for revenge ,even if it took 20 years , id take it .------ This poll is Archived ------
It depends mostly on my emotional attachment to that person. If there is a close bond I forgive a lot but with others I just become indifferent or forget they exist. Fooled once shame on you. Fooled twice shame on me and that is where it stops. Revenge is not something I indulge in as it is too much work and can sometimes backfire.

Nah, I don't hold on to grudges for things done against me. Put on some music and within an hour or two I've forgotten all about it. But do something to hurt those I love and I will be their enemy for life.
