I was never married and don't have kids, and no offence, but I would be looking for someone in a similar situation, no kids or kids who are grown up. 
Kids should be an absolute priority for their parents and as much time as possible spend with them. I just would prefer to have someone who is like me footloose and is able to put time into a relationship.

It is not something that would suit me if she had children who were dependant on her.man, I would feel restricted within my lifestyle.
Also, should I be the only "father figure" in there life, a role model, there chances of success
Of course, I would fully understand her desire towards her children, but being an impulsive man, I would feel restricted and not be able to live the lifestyle I would want with a lover.

I have no children but have dated men with children in the past, it didn't work because of the children, so no more. I even lived with one with a teenage son in the house, it was hell, hell, hell. even the mother of the boy interfering sometimes.

Yes, we are all different ages, and stages of Life...
Having Raised My Kids, And Yes I do Love Kids, It is just not in My Stage of life to Raise any More, If I were Younger, I wouldn't see it a Problem...
But I Hope You Find the one that is at the same Stage of Life that You are at!

One left at home, an 18 year old who is going to College this year so will be a couple of years before I can pack her bags. The others are over 21 so dont live with me anymore.
Been there, done that as the saying goes so I wouldnt date a guy who has young children, have turned down dates for this very reason.

When I started dating my daughter was 10 years old. I had no intention of every marrying again until she was an adult and off to college. My reasoning for that was if a new marriage went down the tubes I didn't want her to be in the middle of it. By the time she was an adult I was no longer interested in marriage and I'm definitely not interested in it now.
When I dated there were two serious relationships and both were good with giving my daughter time and she liked both men. Thing is, I didn't after dealing with them for a couple years.
The one thing they new was that she would always come first but I didn't have to tell them that. They just knew it from our lifestyle.
