All the reasons you listed, being late for the date, ungroomed, talking about his ex(s), showing up with a dirty car to pick me up in, spending most of the date on his cell phone, etc...etc..etc.
Brownie points though would go for opening the car door for me, bringing a single flower, treating me like a lady, not using a potty mouth during our conversation, and not trying to kiss me on our first date on my mouth...etc.etc...I'm southern, and I like some of our traditions.

I always get a giggle out of that term, brownie points. Sounds a bit like frequent flyer points, where when you collect enough, you get to have certain "perks".
