JeanKimberley: When the man your dating is one some kind of personal crusade.....
Women love a man with a mission. And did you know that savvily applied crimethink can part the legs of even(especially?)the most self-interested and ardent foe of reality? She'd rather think that you were insane than a bland, passionless, servile nothing of a man - particularly if her IQ is greater than 120.
MADDOG69: OH are they? You must have experienced a lot of Spanish men to come to that conclusion.
Anyway you were probably lucky. Most Spanish men live at home with mommy well into their 30's and can be seen in their natural environment crying on the street while their girl friends berate them.
I have not experienced many, just one. But he was The Man. Intelligent, polite, funny, interesting, who new how to behave with the woman (and not to behave when needed!). Who treated woman as a Goddess. True friend, true love. Relationship that I will cherish for the rest of my life. Man that will always be dear to my heart.
Of Cause not all Spanish men are the same, but I like to extrapolate the only (and luckily good) experience I had ...
skippyguy: The whole tipping routine is over the top and not meanness, maybe if you thought the meal was great and they deserved but as a general rule, i don't think so, i don't get tipped floated around my workplace for doing a good job, not even a comment most of the time , you are already paid for doing that job !
except Skippy most waitstaff get paid a very minimum stipends and depend on tips to make up to the minimum wage - at least in USA it is not a wage and tips its usually a very tiny, tiny wage and the tip is makes it a living wage.

Well that falls back on the Employer........My mum does not work for the best money, but she gets no tips for working hard or doing a good job, so then you could then say it's not a wage by the same theory, If a person is not happy with their job and money they should look elsewhere, not expect tipping to make up a shortfall in my opinion not saying i dont tip when im away, im just saying it shouldn't be expected
Kaybee50: Checks his cell phone all the time, texts. Does all the talking. Bad breath. Drinking too much. Being ungentlemanly explicit about his expectations. Showing up late.
Does all the talking or you struggle to get a word in edgewise i've been there before !...lol
