When my son was little and his Grandma,Aunt was coming to visit in October we put our tree up cause we knew we weren't going to be together for Christmas that particular year.Our neighbors probably thought we were crazy but we didn't care.You celebrate the holidays when you can.

Ah jebus tru! did you actually take them down after last xmas?
Early decorations are one thing but early advertising is ridiculous in September!!! Surely they can wait till after Halloween! Not fair to families who are strapped for cash. But then they're just out to make money!
You shouldn't have to depend on xmas to see family, there are 364 other days! and occasions like Easter and summertime.
