Aragorn11: Good win as Fiji looked decent.
No bonus point though.
Wonder will it matter in the group ?

I didn't get to watch the game however reports pointed out quite few mistakes Wallaby made. And yes they kicked rather than going for try and that could cost...

Decent enough 1st half Rob, Fiji matched them in the 2nd. Was Australia's 1st game of a long touurnament so not surprisingly were not at their best.
Big game Sat, Wales v England, will tell a lot about the group. Kinda fancying Wales tbh.

Great for Namibia to get a try in fairness. The AB's had a 4 day turnaround so not surprised they were not at their best. The England / Wales match should be a cracker. wave

I can just imagine you cheering them on laugh Everyone loves an underdog.

Before the tournament I thought the faves were

1. New Zealand
2. England & Australia
3. Ireland & S Africa
4. France & Wales.

Thought Wales would be the fall guys in the group of death.
They are missing big players, but the more I read this week it would not surprise me if they overturn Eng on Sat. They are really up for it and this is their WC final. We shall see.

I bowing the underdog.

I love our AB's and do hope they come through, but it's great to see these little guys scaring the daylights out of the big boys...thumbs up

A few punters here have picked an Ireland, AB final.

I recall...the Welsh in my younger days....they had a winger JJ ? just lost for his surname....they were never to be written off then and it seems so now.

Some full back, that Welsh team of the 70's was unreal.

Yeah its great that the so called 2nd tier teams are closing the gap and in some cases causing upsets. Just hope Romania don't turn up on Sunday laugh

Aragorn11: So the Rugby World Cup is upon us and beginning this Friday night.

Personally I think it will come down to the All Blacks, Australia and England as to who wins, giving my own country, Ireland, an outside chance.

Groups should be predictable enough apart from England, Australia and Wales's group with only 2 to qualify for the quarter finals.

Bring it on

To those not familiar with Rugby, its like American Football, without the protective clothing the players wear

Got to expect nothing but a SA comprehensive victory.
They were caught out by Japan but they have not become a bad team overnight.
