Rugby World Cup 2015: Samoa 25-16 United States

Samoa (14) 25
Tries: Nanai-Williams, Treviranus, Pens: Pisi 4, Stanley
USA (8) 16
Tries: Wyles, Baumann. Pens: MacGinty 2

A great game, could have gone either way but the US team lacked discipline which the Samoans used to their advantage
Some interesting results from the first matches.

Excellent game. Credit also due to Eddie Jones(former Wallabies coach).

Well, our first game played against Argentina. Not convincing at all, but a win is a win in WC. The spotlight seems to have fallen on Richie McCaw for his yellow card incident. A shame. He admitted he was at fault after the match, but the English press are having a field day with it. He is held in high regard here in NZ, and is not known, ordinarily, for underhanded tactics on or off the rugby field.

I've been looking to see who's carrying the RWC2015 coverage for us here in the States. Last time NBC did, but only some games on the weekends, then they covered the final championship game.

Aragorn11: So the Rugby World Cup is upon us and beginning this Friday night.

Personally I think it will come down to the All Blacks, Australia and England as to who wins, giving my own country, Ireland, an outside chance.

Groups should be predictable enough apart from England, Australia and Wales's group with only 2 to qualify for the quarter finals.

Bring it on

To those not familiar with Rugby, its like American Football, without the protective clothing the players wear

Unreal result, result of the tournament.
Took some guts to go for the scrum as opposed to the penalty.
That Eddie ones is some manager.
Wonder how the Springboks will react.

Looking forward to seeing Australia for the 1st time in the tournament.
Also Scotland v Japan, will the Japanese do it twice.
Sorry to say it but the Scots have not looked good for a cpl years so it could be another upset.

Fair play to Romania, put it up to the French.
The distance between the so called 2nd tier teams seems to be decreasing if this WC is anything to go by.
