HexagonKeySet: So, are you suggesting women gonna queue up to date Phil on account of his parking badge ?
I would never suggest anything like that ...but I see that some people made comments to suggest such; what self benefits they can get out of someone disability ...which shows limitation of one's perceptions that's focusing on person disability, instead of supporting person ability of what one can do !
philmaster: A lot of people say they would. Is that true?
that should not be a question there people and i see them the same as me. If i like someone looks race disability are not important personality wins every time.
Most people are scared of military induced disabilities. I'm physically and mentally disabled (PTSD and a few too many head injuries) from my time in the military. I think it's only right to disclose this to any potential dates before a relationship gets to far along. I wonder why after this discussion, I can't get hold of her again.
Yes, I am disabled. My disabilities can be hidden to get more responses, but I wont do that. You will be told I had a quadruple heart bypass in April and a leg artery bypass in July because of a heart condition, plus a divorce in June. Fibromialgia and IBS too, I have a lot of pain. I get to still do most things I did, other than sports, which was a important loss. I had been athletic my entire life until my heart problems started. I can still exercise, and do. I have been looked over, because of my health, there will always be shallow people that do that. I don't want that type of person anyway, so no loss for me.

I forgot to mention this, but yes I am disabled. I was born with Cerebral Palsy, and use a wheelchair. Just to let all of you know, in the interest of full disclosure.

I have a disability, MS, have a few symptoms , and need a cane to walk. Lost alot of weight, and muscle. Alot of people avoid me , thinking I ll be asking for help or assistance with something, and yet I m the one usually offering my assistance to others, I don t even bother asking a woman out for coffee anymore, they couldn t be be bothered, (me with ms). Its surprising how many people don t know I exist anymore, since coming down with MS. And to those people who claim they re polite, and helpful to those with disabilities, WELL in most cases, thats only for show, to others, To alot of people, I m just somebody in the crowd, that just slows them down. And yes, I m being abrupt, and to the point.
