Hello smiley , if it makes people happy, and if it helps some people , why not. Everytime I glance at the TV , theres another new pill that's supposed to help arthiritus pain If copper gives some that peace of mind , I have no problem with that/

Three Weeks,Hmmm Theres lots of Canada to see. >Rodeos, sports events, foodfests, entertainment....... and the list goes on, and on.. And there s plenty of people who will sit and have a beer with you and answer your questions. I suggest, do some reseach and find what you re after ,then enjoy yourself.

I have a disability, MS, have a few symptoms , and need a cane to walk. Lost alot of weight, and muscle. Alot of people avoid me , thinking I ll be asking for help or assistance with something, and yet I m the one usually offering my assistance to others,
I don t even bother asking a woman out for coffee anymore, they couldn t be be bothered, (me with ms). Its surprising how many people don t know I exist anymore, since coming down with MS.
And to those people who claim they re polite, and helpful to those with disabilities, WELL in most cases,thats only for show, to others, To alot of people, I m just somebody in the crowd, that just slows them down.
And yes, I m being abrupt, and to the point.

We ve had abit of an off the wall summer here in western Canada, droughts resulting in fires, heat, now plenty of rains, wasn t sure about having a cold winter. Back Again, When idiot boy, Aka Affluenza Boy, drunk driving killed people, he was driving a ford F350. And to those of you not familiar with this vehicle , it is a big, powerful, heavy duty truck, Who would give a kid ,(with his previous disregard for the law) a vehicle to drive, especially this vehicle,
Totally baffles me,
After following the story about idiot boy, (affluenza boy)and his parents, I am thankful my parents give me their work ethic, respect to others, and to be a honest, contributing member of society .
Affluenza boy might have so much, but then again theres so much more he doesn t have.

Hello Lindsyjones, This is definitely a very sad story,for those who lost loved ones as a result of Affluenza boys actions. Can you imagine the pain, and sorrow they are put through seeing this brat on Tv ,continually.
When this brat was driving underage,and drunk, something should have been done immediately before the situation could progress into the loss of life. This kid was an accident waiting to happen When he makes it to jail, his parents should be there to keep him company,
I m hoping theres at least some serious repercussions coming to affluenza boy, (and his parents) to set an example for others who care to drink, and drive,

I don t have a cell phone, and don't care for one, my reasoning, is I ve had too, too many close calls driving ,that involve other drivers either texting, or talking on their cell phones, They don t pay attention to their driving. I will not be like that.
I think texting has caused the younger generation to forget to use the words please, and thank you,
I also think a good number of people have given their loyalty, and work ethic to the cell phone ,instead of their employers and parents,
Too many people say how did we survive without cell phones
We survived, and I think we were more innovated, and happier doing it,

Back Again, LJ , I ve mentioned before I have MS, ( its not progressing, but have to use a cane to walk,still active, do a lot of activities, just a lot slower, and have given up a lot of activities..), I can t work anymore because of that, a lot more time on my hands, too much time to think. Life isn t that bad.
Because of having too much time on my hands, its made me a more patient, kinder person, . I find myself not looking at things that turn me off so much in a person, but look at a persons good qualities. And as I look for these qualities, I sure noticed what a lot of people are missing, manners, kind thoughts, positive outlooks on life. These rude people ,I can t handle, and at times,I think to myself If only I could share my ms with them for a little while, and make them realize how good they got it.
I don t think I m becoming some grumpy old man, I m not that old yet, I hope.

Good Morning Lindsyjones Hello from Western Canada, In my little corner of the world ,we ve had very little snow yet, , and the temperatures are cool, not terribly cold yet, , I could live with that,
As for what really turns me off in a relationship,or even in a friendship,is people who have to lie,(to make themselves look better than they actually are) I ve known some who lie about anything, and everything,and when those lies are discovered ,those same people act as if they (the lies) were nothing. I figure I m honest with people and expect the same in return. I can t build a trust, and loyalty in a friend with lies, and nonsense involved. I m too old fashioned.

Hello Glengirl, I don t earn no mega bucks, or complain about the weather, and I m fairly happy. I ve known some filthy rich people who were so worried about their money, they could never be happy.There is a lot of kidding, and bantering amongst Canadians about better weather, or better province, but I think we re all glad to be Canadians.

BC is a beautiful place, have a lot of family living out there, and they never stop telling what nice weather they get, , but prior to oil prices dropping, it was surprizing how many people ,(from BC) were moving back to Alberta, and Sask, , We can t be that bad of a place.

I have a little toy poodle, a 13 yr old lovable little pooch. He will protect himself, cant blame him. I ve noticed at times ,when visitors are about to leave, my little pooch barks a lot , and nips at their heels, (not being vicious) , but not wanting the visitor to leave, wanting the quest to sit and play with him,
I have noticed some young larger dogs don t realize their own strength, when it comes to other dogs, and people.

Hello from Saskatchwan Or should I say GOOD MORNING, The rain has helped the forest fire situation out here. 7000 people are returning home to the north country. Another 6000 remain in the southern centers. Crazy year for weather,
There is a number of our fellow Canadians not online lately, I figure they re out enjoying the summer.
Out here in Sask, we ve had a hot dry summer, makes me wonder what type winter we re going to have. We haven't had one of those terribly cold ones in awhile.

I happen to have Ms, have to use a cane, do most things, just slower. Am still fairly active, probably a lot more active than a lot of people without Ms.When I chat with women on the chatline, I make a point of mentioning it to them.I get stood up, lied to, spoke down to.... My Ms doesn't seem to be progressing, but I have learnt from it, learnt to be a more caring, understanding person. Someone who appreciates life that much more. For the way I ve been treated,by a lot of people, it shows me how many rude ignorant people there are in the world.

Afew months ago , I lost my Mother to lung cancer.She was a light smoker 30 yrs ago. I also know of two ladies ,(my mothers age), with lung cancer.Neither one of these ladies smoked, or were near second hand smoke.I wonder what could be banned to help these ladies.
If smoking, and drinking, were banned tomorrow, what would be next on the ban list.coffee, or maybe chocolate?

Im a fellow with a disability (ms)and walk with a cane.I make it known I have MS ,it shuns off alot of people(even to chat with,especially women)I don t know whats in my future down the road, but right now theres not too much I can t do, it only takes longer.
