mortalez: with that one statmente you have shown that you believe love IS enough and you are honest about that statment you are one of the loving caring females dicribed in the pole.
No, I have shown that I do not care about materialistic things...
That I am not shallow and materialistic.
I am a loving caring female, yes, I love to love, care and support.
Love is enough for two people, when they are compatible and meet each others needs emotionally, physically and in all aspects of their personalities, and it survives...
I agree with you, it's not always like that, i was with someone i really loved but if you can't eat or have somewhere to live you staying with them is not always an option regardless how much you love them
mortalez: if your personalities were so different then love would not come, you could like them, like them alot but not love, and life circumstances are outside to actual love.
you got it - so different that love never came.
quote mortalez "and life circumstances are outside to actual love."

Hi Morgan
I agree entirely, love will soon fly out the window when money problems start rearing their ugly head.
How is love *only* enough, for people who aren't materialistic or concerned about where/how a person lives, yet care about things like appearances and clothes ( they shouldn't be dirty or have holes in them)?
I doubt a man living in abject poverty, somewhere in a cardboard box, would afford a decent shirt to wear to a date.

Contradiction.
Hi Lush,
just go and vote - you are given a choice:
* I'm a man yes/no * I'm a shallow woman and no * I'm a materialistic women and no * I'm a shallow and materialistic women and no
* I'm a man and yes. * I'm a man and no. * I'm a loving and caring woman and yes.<---- Did you miss the one? * I'm a shallow materialistic women and no
...and where is the option for a woman who doesn´t believe that love is enough, but it has nothing to do with money? I have loved men where the compatibility to have a relationship just isn´t there.... the goals we have and the future we want are just too different to consider a "forever" together...because I don´t think love is enough the only option left on your poll is shallow and materialistic?
Where is the shallow materialistic button for the guys... the ones who want a slim, big breasted Barbie 20 years younger then he is?

Sorry but this poll stinks and I didn´t vote.
Now J, tell us what you really think.
I can see where you are coming from.
The poll is flawed, definitely.
Is love enough?
Just to make my position clear, though.
Love is not always enough, sometimes it can be, if I loved a man who fell into poverty, then I am going to support him and be there, sometimes when you are truly in love, and that is deep love that has grown and developed over time, whatever the timescale, then of course, I would not back out of that because of poverty.
I do not attach power to money, I do not have that much myself, enough to support my children, my home and that is enough.
Love is not about money, it is about love and two people who choose to be together, if that means the pennies are tight then so be it...
