Its hard to say for some cancer sufferers loose hair after chemo and buy a wig, I say now I wouldn't but who knows I hope I never have to make my mind up
I'm not bald, I have thick hair. It isn't uncommon for women who are not bald, that buys wigs all the time just because they like to change up their appearance maybe for fun.
If I had cancer and lost my hair due to chemo, I may or may not buy one but I can't say because I'm not in that situation.
I think, for whatever reason, it's no big deal for women to wear wigs.
EXRED: Nope would not buy wig but maybe hat for outdoors

It's not just cancer...which causes baldness....some women lose hair...cause they dyed it for too many years and did not look after in properly...
If you lost your hair...would you feel less feminine?
When my daughter lost all her hair from chemotherapy, she tried wearing a wig...She didn't like wearing the wig..She preferred wearing scarves and hats..to work. No, it did not make her feel less feminine not having hair...BTW she lost all body hair including eyelashes and eyebrows. If anything, it made her stronger beating the big C....Eleven years now..this month.
Women can be strong Lee...and still feel feminine...It is how you feel about yourself.
I used to kiss her bald head..just like I did when she was a baby...I was never more proud of her.
I've worn wigs most of my adult life even though I have plenty of hair. I would certainly wear one if going bald. Personally, I'd feel self conscious and less feminine if bald though in today's society bald women are making a fashion statement.
