The family unit need not be 'traditional' and nor does the way of life, for it to provide a loving, calm, wise, educational environment for a child to thrive and feel protected, supported and encouraged as well as loved.

Acceptance, compassion and understanding however, go a long way to 'bridge the gap' between the genders and provide a stable environment for children to grow up respecting and honouring other humans irrespective of gender, race or religion.

The reason you don't answer my view points is because you find it difficult to wrap your head round my comments. I don't detest traditional gender roles and traditional family unit. I and many other people have outgrown them. They are mostly no longer operational. Traditional gender roles no longer influence my life. I am independant and do whatever I like. That's ehat I call being empowered. Not being governed by any stereotypes.
And everyone should be free to choose how they want to live. Traditional or not. Whatever floats their boat. It should be out of preference and choice and not an imposition!
