"Size seems to make little difference!"

Totally false.

Anybody either grossly underweight or overweight is bound to have physical problems.

I told my first wife that if she didn't take care of herself I'd trade her in for a newer model.

She took care of herself.

I traded her in for a newer model anyway.

I can't believe we're still talking about weight, rather than fitness level, or weight relative to age, height, gender and muscle mass. doh

What?

Are you trying to complicate things?

Of course, if you are 6'4" tall and way a mere 450 lbs but have been training for the past 10 years to become a sumo wrestler then.......... you're still overweight and it's not good for your heart!

I'm the PERFECT weight for my height and body shape............. however I don't do any exercise unless I have to or a lady makes me do mutually naughty things, aplus I smoke way too much - but just imagine if I had to carry another 100 lbs or lost 100 lbs I'd be in an even worse state than I am now!

i would also be ready to cook some nice and healthy foods for my woman if she is really serious about not being overweight. And i think, women should also seriously consider cooking some nice and healthy foods for their men, should they become overweight too.conversing

The way that a guy feels about an overweight female is very simple. He puts both hands on and moves them about until he finds something he likes.grin

No, I'm trying to simplify things. My point is that discussing weight is pointless and totally counterproductive when fitness and overall health should be the standard, rather than "looks."

Okay... let me ask this question: Let's say you suffer a stroke on the beach and need to be carried away or you need to be pulled out of the water. You have a choice of two people:

One is fit and muscular but has a bit extra on the hips, the other is skinny, not fit, but looks gorgeous in her bikini. Which would you prefer to rescue you?

... and don't even say that you'd rather die in the arms of the gorgeous one .. tongue

thumbs up I've had my share of asses say really mean things to me, hell I don't look bad, no where near a size 0, I still can buy all my clothes off the racks (and not the largest size offered), but I'm not small, I'm curvy and I'm comfy with me, ain't a darn thing I can do with some things except cough up thousands for a plastic surgery, I can move around just fine, and walk up stairs without getting out of breath. So IDC if a guy is going to pass me up cuz I'm curvy and have some padding in the right places- so be it, plenty of guys like a thick girl. They can watch my junk bounce as I turn away from them cheers

angelLoveGuru: because man can be cruel to fat chicks

So am I led to believe that as a "fat chick" no-one likes me!!!!
Why all the negative options? Thats a very MCP attitude and it depends on the individuals definition of fat. You should add a positive option to the poll otherwise you have nothing to compare.

So guys if we added an option "Happy with a big girl" would any of you vote for it?

Btw I have not had any complaints yet and I am no spring chicken. OMG old and fat I dont have a chance in this life doh

where is the nearest tree...anyone got any rope rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing

I have been on both sides of the fence, when I was younger I was on the heavy side. Then I went on a diet and went about it the wrong way (I'm sure that everyone here knows what I mean instead of going into deep detail). Yes I lost the weight but at the same time almost kill myself, because when I looked at myself all I could see was fat, no matter what others said to me. I was put in the hospital for two months until I got my head on straight and gain some of my weight back. When I enter the hospital I weight 82 pounds when I was release I weight 120. This was a good size for me. My husband pass away 3 years ago and my way of getting over it was work, clean house and eat. Once again I started putting on the weight, I got up to 203, was I healthy, did I care what people thought, was I ashame. At the time I would have to say no. Til one morning I woke up and got my head on straight, and relize that I was going in the wrong direction. For the pass 1 and 1/2 years now I have been on a diet the right way lossing a little at a time, and I have lost 143 pounds, my goal is to lose 25 more pounds. if any of you look at my profile you will see that I did put a few extra pounds. I'm not putting this on here to get a crown on my head, but just to let any one know that it can be done. Also men or women it doesn't help if you keep talking about fat people or if you would date a fat person or what you think of fat people, it only hurts. Be glad that you are the right size but also don't dig at others just because their not. We are all different in size, shape, and color, if we were all the same what kind of world would this be? i know that this post is long and I'm sorry for that, but I just get upset seeing all the stuff about fat people. Beauty is what is inside a person not the outside.
