With the state of emergency in my country am now rather worried about the less fortunate and how desperate this must feel and also the elderly stuck in nursing homes and now their loved ones cannot visit them....
rohaan: Just wondering what is happening in various communities regarding the Coronavirus Epidemic. For example, here (in Oregon, or at least this corner of Oregon) church/community sponsored free breakfasts and lunches have been, or are being, cancelled. Clubs that ordinarily meet in public venues, such as banks, some libraries, etc...are being cancelled--quite an increase of people walking around with surgical masks, that sort of thing. Most people I know are trying to "keep calm and carry on" as the British say---what's going on in your neck of the woods?
finally a comment that is reasonable to understand Well, the thought had at the very first about Coronavirus is that it is a biological weapon, terrorist attack - both maybe. But general public will probably never know. I think vendors need to halt any purchases that look like hoarding.

I remember in 1989 an Ebola outbreak occurred in a lab in Reston,VA near Washington D.C. Fortunately the variant didn't seem to infect humans. Some Ebola strains have a 90% mortality rate!
A high tech lab was near the area in Wu Han (sp.?) where Corona probably originated.
