Lunabeam: i can't stand cheaters and liars and those who do it think everyone is like them and it's okay as long as you win, like little t and his supporters...B&B are trump supporters....wonder if it was because of stupidity or greed? Probably both. They only know football and getting rich, like some business men only know business and getting rich...no character.
I don’t like any politicians. They are mostly all liars and get rich off of us peons.
galrads: I never understood why anyone would care how much air is in some guy’s balls
Speaking in terms of a football, because it was done in secret to gain an advantage, thus, cheating. If one team is going to deflate a football, the opposing team should as well to keep things fair.

Two wrongs don't make a right. If other teams cheated the same as Brady did then they would be bringing their team down to the level that Brady brought the Patriots down to which is the bottom of the barrel IMO. It doesn't matter how many Super Bowls the team went to. What matters is that they won with their morals intact.
When someone cheats you can't trust them with anything else. Thus, did he cheat in every game that he won? What else does he cheat at?
Still speaking of football..........What are we football fanatics having for a snack while watching the game. I'm having Chicken and/or Pork Egg Rolls. Just pop them in the oven and they are done in minutes.

I'm going to be with the Fam in K.C. for the weekend and will be making chili for game day, complete with a Toppings bar....tons of good stuff to put on the chili.
For all you Brady Haters... you all need to face reality someday...
“This brings us back to the question of whether Brady has ever been caught cheating. Despite what some Patriots haters say, the answer is no.
Deflategate is the biggest Patriots scandal he’s been involved in. While he served a suspension, he appealed it and never admitted guilt. The NFL, likewise, never publicly presented hard evidence that Brady cheated or that he knew the balls were deflated.
Will the perception that Brady and the Patriots cheat hurt his legacy? We don’t think so. He has a 20-year track record of playing in the NFL, and many people regard him as the best quarterback in league history.
The Patriots scandals get a lot of press but are forgotten after punishments are handed down and suspensions are served. Brady’s play on the field speaks for itself. Virtually nothing can take away from this.”

The NFL has suspended New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady for four games for his role in the team's "Deflategate" scandal. The team has also been stripped of two draft picks and fined $1 million. The league did this because of its investigation found that team locker room attendant Jim McNally likely released air from a set of game balls used during the AFC Championship this past December.
The investigation concluded that quarterback Tom Brady was likely "at least generally aware" of McNally's activities. There's no evidence coach Bill Belichick knew what was going on.
Under-inflated balls are easier to catch and throw, and each team uses its own set of balls — so the Patriots' opponent wouldn't have enjoyed the same advantage.
Tom Brady is appealing his suspension. Though the Patriots published an incredibly thorough rebuttal of the NFL's investigation, they've declined to appeal the team penalties.
After an NFL investigation found that members of the Patriots' locker room staff likely deflated their footballs on purpose — and that Tom Brady probably knew about it — the league has handed down a surprisingly harsh penalty. Brady will miss the first four games of the season, the Patriots will be fined $1 million, and the team will also lose two draft picks in upcoming years.
The investigation found that 11 of the 12 footballs used by the New England Patriots during the first half of the AFC Championship had less than the minimum air pressure mandated by the league.A referee had confirmed before the game that the balls were fully inflated — but sometime afterward, but before kickoff, Patriots locker room attendant Jim McNally took the balls into the bathroom and likely released air from them, perhaps acting on Brady's orders.
Why might the Patriots want under-inflated footballs? In theory, they'd be easier for Brady to grip and for the team's running backs and receivers to catch and hold on to during the game's rainy conditions. Because teams always use their own sets of footballs when they're on offense, this wouldn't have helped their opponents, the Indianapolis Colts.
The penalty for is far steeper than many expected, and the Patriots have responded in kind, publishing a thorough, point-by-point rebuttal to the NFL's investigation, even calling upon a Nobel-winning scientist to argue that the balls could have been deflated naturally by temperature changed. However, they've decided not to appeal their penalties, though Tom Brady is appealing his suspension, and it could well be reduced by a few games.
Regardless, the biggest impact of "Deflategate" might actually be long-term. Given previous instances of cheating by the Patriots, it could tarnish their legacy in the future.

Yes, I read this. Still “ Deflategate is the biggest Patriots scandal he’s been involved in. While he served a suspension, he appealed it and never admitted guilt. The NFL, likewise, never publicly presented hard evidence that Brady cheated or that he knew the balls were deflated.”

The idea that a professional quarter back can't feel the difference in an under inflated ball it laughable.

Suspension? It cost the Patriots #22 MILLION dollars to defend Brady.
Congratulations !! Kansas City didn't have the drive in them to win.
I wonder if their lack of enthusiasm has anything to do with the coach's son being in a car accident after he was drinking. The car he hit had two small children in it. One of them a 5 year old girl who is in the hospital in critical condition. Maybe the elder coach couldn't concentrate on the game. I'm not looking for an excuse for the game loss because it's obvious Brady was the better quarterback tonight. I'm just thinking that the elder coach might be wondering if that little 5 year old girl is going to live and if she doesn't did his son kill her by driving and drinking too much.

Blessings for the little girl
Yes, blessings for the little girl! What won the game for the buccaneers was their defense, Brady’s arm was good tonight and he read the Chiefs defense and he got MVP award again tonoight but the MVP award shoukd have gone to the Bucs defense players.
Inthewoods: I was hoping for a closer game, defense usually wins championships, and it did today...
Well, now 6 months without football... ... ... I also missed the fans in the stands this year, it just wasen't the same...
I find the championship games that happened two weeks ago to be more exciting. Super Bowl games have a lot of hype and as we saw tonight the game didn't live up to the hype.
Woodsie, I saw something on tv this morning about the fan noise. The two teams developed a sound machine. It has buttons for everything that can happen in a game.....fans shouting, fans booing, etc. It doesn't replace the fans but it would have been a horrible game if we didn't hear the background noise that they did hear. Let's hope that next year when the two teams go to Los Angeles football and life all over the world will be back to "normal".
