Why Is It so many men and women do not Respond On theese sights,And don't log in (20)
BACHLORBILL: I have noticed that so many times when you write some one on these sights that they never respond,and so many do not check ther e-mail is it just me or do others feel if your not going to participate remove your profile.
Come on even a not interested remark would be better than none at all.

I have and will respond to each and every email I recieve, sometimes it might take me a day or so, as I'm a flight attendant and will get to personal business on my laptop quickly as I can..its just plain polite and courteous to do so..

Many have were probably on for a while and didn't have any luck and give up(quit) then a few may have found someone and just never deleted their profile or are waiting to see if the one they are with is going to work out, before deleting it....

I have experienced it as well, you dig a chick and you mail her and she logs in..sees the email and does not bother to view you or respond to th email. Some...never log in and you send an email and for weeks end they never see it..when they do..no response..why on earth would anyone be on a dating site and behave like this..bits me..to pieces..this site..needs to..do a membership test before allowing weirdos here..better still..deactivate an account that is plain dormant for too long..!

I think that some of these people are jokers. In their profile they talk about any distance, any man/woman, any this any that but then they never answer. Some even post pictures with someone else and that's a turn off. I think only serious persons should be on cs.

i try to log on every day. for me personally i dont see much point in talikng to a man that lives in another country i couldnt afford to go over there to visit and and i would be shocked if a bloke came here to meet me.

One thing you have to keep in mind is that some people have their im's turned off - due to getting a lot of scammers. And also some have restricted what countries they will accept emails from. So it could be that your im's and emails are just not getting thru to the person. Everyone has free choice, don't take it so personal - it's a free site, you get what you pay for....

As l have writen in threads and as l have written to the 'mods' on two occasions, when someone has not logged in for 30 days or 45 then thay should have to re-apply and their profile should be removed, BUT!, can you imagine having a website like this and someone wants to advertise and you having to tell them you only have 1,000 members???, of course not, its better to say 'we have 10,000,000 members' which , of course, puts the cost of advertising up...............business is'nt it!

I used to reply but found often my response was answered with an abusive mail wanting to know why i wasn't interested. Plus some peoples profiles do say there only here for the forums, but they still get mail

I get that too, and I think most of us do at times. So, just keep seeking, or hang out in the forums and get to know people. You never know who you might find. I really just don't worry about those who don't log on...you get it on pay sights, too. This site is free and people can do what they want to.

I feel rude if I do not respond, but it can be overwhelming. When you get too many people contacting you, it is hard to keep them straight. Then I feel rude if I am not remembering things they told me about, or mixing them up with another. I have seriously thought about deleting my profile, just to keep from being rude. I open to suggestions, what do you do when it is overload at times?

I used to reply to everyone when I first joined back last year, even if it was only to say a kind and gentle "Thanks & Good Luck"..but after a while I realised that that wasn't the best thing to do with more than just one or two folk, as they would either keep reply and asking why etc, or could not see that we had nothing in common etc...also I do recieve have flowers/messages form people who don't even read my profile, or read my profile but don't have one themselves yet ask me to tell them about myself
..or equally I read their profile and wonder why they chose to contact me for it appears we have nothing in common etc... Plus I don't have lots time to reply in length or have lots of email-friends. I do reply to people, but not if I'm not inspired, first impressions count, even on a dating site.
