qwiah: MANY AT TIMES I FEEL THAT THERE IS NO GOOD FRIEND ON CONNECTING SINGLES....HOWEVER, THANKS BE TO THREE NAMES WHO HAVE PROVEN TO BE VERY NICE....WELL CAN YOU SHARE YOU EXPERIENCE? AGAIN I WILL SAY NO ON THE OTHER HAND. THIS IS BECAUSE OTHERS HAVE CONVINCED ME THAT THEY ARE ONLY HERE TO INSULT, DEGRACE AND FRUSTRATE...MAY I KNOW YOUR STORY?
Yes, there are many that have made good friends here on CS. I certainly have and continue to keep in touch off-site.
Just as with RL, we cannot possibly hope to get on and see eye-to-eye ALL the time, though there are those who are intent on just causing mayhem, yes.
The immediate perception you get is clearly not going to be the correct one, it takes time and much inter-action to get a real feel for the personalities here.
I hope you take the time to get to know others and enjoy the Forums, my friend.

Possibly, but there must be a difference in 'friends' and 'friends', those that believe they are cyber friends and those that have actually met, hugged, kissed etc............

I have just emailed back and forth a couple times with some - seem nice - would I consider friends? no --- I guess I'm not here often enuf to make many cyber-friends. I'm more of an observer than a poster tho - and that seems to be the key to networking here.------ This poll is Archived ------

I have a couple friends here that we are so close that if we met we still would be great friends. Cause we are all honest with each other and support each other thru hard times. So yes you can find friendship online, it does take a little more time to form that bond. But it can happen.

Iv made some real good friends on here .Ok i may not have met them but i know anytime i need them i just look here .Iv been through a lot with my c.s friends like they have with me .I may not know them in person but i still like to think i know how they would be at certain times .
I may never get the chance to meet any of them but il always carry the fun times around ,no matter what you call this ,to me its memories and good ones dont come by to often like these ones

I'm working on my friends list as we speak. Slow, but sure. 
There are some wonderful people here and I believe that outweighs all the negatives.

My door is always open anytime you want to pop in Vinny.
But I share my bed with Bob-- my big bear I have had forever,
he does not have batteries
but it's a huge bed so ifenough show up we can have a slumber party.
