buzzy: None, what a waste of money. These are nothing but material possesions that will be gone. How about taking that money and giving it to an orphanage. Or to a homeless shelter. How about to the family that takes in injuried or abandoned animals.
Ah sure make us all feel bad lol
I always donate money to charities ...so if I had more I would donate more.
If it got to the point that I felt I had enough money to 'afford' getting an old T-bird for myself - there would already be a pile of money been given to charity and a wildlife rehabilitation center up and running.
Just to cover the bases - my family would all be taken care of and likely as not they would be spoiled rotten!

Let me guess, the new Lamborgini...there still fairly rare?
A friend of a friend own Ferrari!! Not that i know the person or can afford the cars.lol
Another friend of mine has 2 lotuses (when he was 21 his parents bought him a New Ferrari 355, and he took the call from the dealer by accident and cancelled the order!).
I like Audi's.....i've had several and i may well even buy a Japanese car for the first time in my life for my next car.
It's a road rally car.....Mitsubishi Evolution......

I would still do this, too...but would have to get a Jaguar convertible, a Lambourghini, and a Hummer. Can't help it, I'm a motorhead with a love of fast and tough vehicles.

I already let out my house (for free) to Red Cross / Save the Children for use by the Tsunami victims, I am a monthly contributor to StC and generally not impossible if someone have got a bad moment in life.
So... I will dream on freely here then:
I'd go for another Lamborghini, if I could live with having a car for no particular use. I had the Jalpa once but I could not really afford it then and had to let it go after a fun time.
I had a Porsche 944 cabriolet, which was better value for money, useful within limits, but still, not your family car of choice.
Since many years I am a big lover of the Jeep but I understand that we are going for a small Citroën this year...

Tamarin: 3 on the list family have not owned
Most comfortable as a passenger Jag or BMW...
Got you Robbie Mr Smarty Pants know it all...
Several in British racing green..guess which?
Why on earth would you want a car the same colour that a slug would be happy on?
Jesus, silver please.
Though Lambo's in yellow look rather fetching.
I still prefer the Audi R8 though? Didn't own one of them then?
I was lucky, i just drove them, didn't have to pay for them or maintain them!
Also you would be amazed how disgusting some people leave their cars when they go on holiday. For example, one customer left his lunch in his car, and this car was parked in summer in the sun for 2 weeks before he returned!
I also have seen rotting fruit, full nappies, sandwiches and all manner of crap in peoples cars.Thank god i don't have that job at the airport any longer!

Oh Italian/French you.....black and silver cars
Shame on you your ancestors will be turning in their graves

Fun thread - love cars!
If just dreaming, A fully built 1955 Chevy Impala street rod.
RobbieM: Porche, nice, and expensive, especially if you go for the nice GT3.
Lotus, badly made, the clutches go, the warranties are terrible and you have to send them back to the manufacturer to get fixed!
Ferrari....Unreliable.
Bentley, prone to the front wheels coming off.
Jaguar, dull....an old persons car.
BMW 7 series, big as a tank, and just as heavy!
Lamborgini.....Get a new one from Audi, or The R8.
Lexus....The RX400 hybrid is a great car.
Hummer, good if your in the Army, but as a civillian vehicle i have to ask if you cant park it anywhere whats the point.
Aston Martin weren't on the list either, and bits fall off them as well.
Save your money and buy a practical car, and go on nice holidays for the rest of your life.
And for the record, there's 3 on the list i havent driven!
I have driven all of them and much more, i used to move cars for (Ray Catena/ Mercedes Benz of new jersey) and his brother (Richard Catena who owns New Jersy Auto Wholesalers Warehouse in Teterboro NJ. I happen to think they all are great, and the people who buy them, say they never have a problem. U just think u know what your talking about!
I voted for the 'porch' ... I need a new one on my house Second best was the 'hummer' ... but those aren't that expensive around here - 20-35 bucks will get you that!
