My day, lovely man was wonderful and full of smiles, grumpy students, who are waiting for the school year to be over, I have 14 more weeks to work, before I finish and my Senior class, graduates, then I am done for the summer.
Sommerauer71: Hello Mike, what are you suggesting?
That you are on your guard?
Surely not, tis only lil ol me.
My day, lovely man was wonderful and full of smiles, grumpy students, who are waiting for the school year to be over, I have 14 more weeks to work, before I finish and my Senior class, graduates, then I am done for the summer.
How was your day?
Not on my guard, the opposite, first thread you enter a post and I see it, breaks me into a fit of laugh.
Why would I be on guard for that and how could I
I had a lot of numbers to move around, got them all done now and is just enjoying the general chaos in here. It have been nice to be able to not need to leave for any thing in particular for a few days. Tomorrow it starts again and I will have to use those shoes again...
Packing too, but not too well and not in a hurry, I will have the transport from here after next weekend, this turn is just for me and the dog.
I would also answer other, as to the mood stabilizers and psyche drugs that doctors prescribe with a glint of dollar signs in their eyes these days. We have no idea of the long term affects and the short term reactions and side effects can be fatal or damaging to the human psyche. If I must go through life without feeling to any extreme, then I may is well be dead. My pet-peave words are; "Oh, that's nice." In otherwords, no reaction whatsoever. A walking, talking, mimic zombie or clone of an existence.
I think that HEROIN is a HORRIBLE drug....as is all the rest of them....
There were people that I would know thru a local "watering hole" that I used to go to....
I guess I was really "green" cause I didn't know that their sourcec of "partying" consisted of herione, blow, and crack cocaine....
Either one of those drugs will and CAN detroy you....
I stay COMPLETELY away from ANY ONE PERSON whom even dabbles in it...
my mom always said "walk with those who limp and you start to limp too"..kinda stuck in my head for the simple reason that the bar that I once frequented? well, half of those people partied together and they all got involved...
where are they now? hmmm either in rehab for the 10000000000000000000'th time, homeless, the 5% who seeked help and got it and is now drug-free (or so I have heard) or ultimately, D-E-A-D
SOOOOOOOOOOOOO SAD...... a very special person I know died of it...and it still saddens me to this day
SAY NO TO DRUGS........ COULDN'T have been a more true statement...
Da10th: I picked other, and that was for nicotine. The reason I chose that was because to me, the world over, it is one of the most socially accepted drugs throughout the world and it is said to be as addictive as heroin, just not as nasty as far as side effects when it comes to withdrawl and of course it takes alot more to overdose.
The rest there is plenty of education about available and thus you enter their realm at your own peril. However, I think nicotine is one of the most underrated drugs around. (this from a smoker)
Da, I have to agree. I chose other for the same reason. They say that quitting smoking is harder than cocaine and heroin combined. The reason is that it's socially acceptable, and part of your everyday life. To quit cocaine and/or heroin, you can stop hanging around certain people and places. To quit smoking you can't stop driving your car, living in your house, being around all of your family and friends, walking, going out, eating, drinking all beverages...etc. So to me, nicotine is the worst drug of all.
This is from a smoker who walked away from alcohol and cocaine a little over a year ago.
