And the moment you attempt to see yourself "dispassionately," you have to choose which "other's" view you're going to adopt.
When I look at myself in photos (or even in real life), is how different I can look from situation to situation, depending on the lighting, how rested I am, or how I'm feeling that particular moment. I look at my photos and I swear I see many - perhaps even dozens - of "Jeffs." Who is the real me? Some I think look good, others not so much.
