The early polling here has over 1/3 voting ...to NEVER hold Obama accountable.

I would like to see some rationale for that position, please?

First in light, he said he would run a 'transparent administration'...which has something to do with accountability.

Second, because on my desk is a political book to be read by Tavi Smiley on Obama....called "Accountable, Making America as Good as Its Promise"

by the way this book has high praise both former President Clinton
and Newt Grinrich. So seems to be written with some objectivity.

But the book has different scales for judgeing President Obama
and his administration to meeting campaign promises and being accountable to teh country for making them.

Lastly, considering for 8 year DEMs and Liberals have held former President Bush's feet to the fire regarding accountability. Why does President Obama get a free pass around the fire pit and GWB gets spears holding him to the fire pit?

This is a question that is being asked in REP circles by the way.
I heard it on Huckabee's show a few nights ago.

Traditionally and historically, it was 100 days of no real politicing or criticism.

I kind of think that the Obama Administration and DEM knew most REP would give them the 100 days.

So?

Did TARPII so that if REP opposition gathered, they could say....those REP not giving us our 100 days.

I not sure if 'painting' him is the right word. One can make honest and critical assessments that are objective. They improve both the majority party and show the minority party to be intelligent and working for the countries good.

They are a heck of way to bridge across the aisle between governing parties.

Sure here in CS, we are a wee bit more passioned...so they may seem to paint...but even here they are way to see the other side opinion and position.

By the way newlife.....one reason TARPII has not worked so far.
They have only spent 5% of the 767b. Only 5%. I think I know why.
It has to do with the Chinese T-Bills and the bank stress tests. Yet President Obama said recently were are broke...in deep deficit. And if the economic crisis is so bad, why are they holding onto the TARPII funds? So what gives?

If I have a bank account of $765b, I am not broke. And if I have a economy in finanical crisis because of liquity, I am not holding onto funds. But I don't give the world misleading and confusing statements. Because there one cause confidence lose.

When we (REP) see conflicting statements like these......and conflicting actions.....we get very nervous. And yes then we want to see both accountability and transperancy.

I saw it some years ago,but sadly,it doesn't do the Book much Justice.It is probably next to impossible to condense a Book like "The Fountainhead" into a Movie.
There is some good acting in it,but I would really like for someone to produce a Miniseries of it.
