virgiomonkey: ....Before I reply to all the above threads....A question here to all....Which Countries,at the beginning of Hussein rule of Iraq endorse him, and back that Evil Nut case ....and which Countries help to put that Evil Nutcase into power in the first place.......??

The U.S. may very well have had a hand in his rise to power. The problem with blaming only one country though is that most of the Arab and Persian ME were also intent in seeing an anti-communist take control and these same said countries also backed him. What I find objectionable is pointing to the U.S. ONLY as if the local rulers aren't fooling around in the internal affairs of other governments as well. It doesn't excuse our interference except to say that without the wider context it's easy to believe we have these "leaders" on a string, which is ridiculous. Lebanon and Syria is a case in point, as is Iran's support of Hamas, Hezbollah, Islamic Jihad and their backing of both Sunni and Shia terrorist cells in Iraq. When one side gets involved, it's harder for those with a stake in the country (whether ill or good) to stay out of it.
You've been listening to KGB radio for too long, pal....
When did they ever staged a revolution, toppled a goverment or otherwise interfered with the internal affairs of other countries...???
That's why when young americans go backpacking overseas, they are recommended to show a canadian flag on their backpacks...!!!!!
I would never wear a Canadian flag on my person even if it saved me from violence, which is why some American kids do so-in no small part due to the leftists attitude that we are to blame for the ill's of the world. Besides that, I doubt many Canadians would wear their own flag in, say, Somalia...
True, I suspect people don't always hear the real story from those in the press. I know it's hard to believe for some but the press really isn't to be trusted.

......And Yes...... You are correct.....But which Country are you talking about concerning the Media.???...just curious here...
rioplatense: Well...go through Afghanistan. Iraq...or a whole lot of other countries ( arab ones), wearing an american flag...
I'm sure they would welcome you with open arms....
Of course, if a Canadian flag showed up in Iraq or Afghanistan, the locals would say, "What country is that??" Canada likes to act tough as they're bludgeoning those 300,000 annual baby harp seals, in the Canadian Maritimes. But don't let those limbless, puppy dog-like eyes fool you, Canadians argue that they're doing those innocent seals a favor by saving them from experiencing any more cold Canadian winters.

No specific country. I'm talking media in general regardless of where it's coming from. I cannot honestly name any media group that's worthy of complete trust. I try to listen to several sources and then make up my own mind pushing their dribble off to the side.
