hathor: I won't offense you, but if you don't find on CS what you are looking for, then it is because of your profile.
Your profile is too strict.
Sourround yourself with two or three friends, and let them rewrite your profile. That should do the trick
Hahaha! But then people will be interested in my friends point of view and not mine...thanks for the advice but if anyone writes me they will just have to take me as I come...which is exactly that way...bold, direct, stern and to the point....
Plus I also had a lot of good feedback on it...many people saw the humour hidden in there and appreciated the direct, honest approach...so Im not worried about lack of interest..., more whether or not I can actually follow up on any of it practically speaking.
I don't see it as internet dating. I see it as a venue, like a coffee shop. It is only the venue, where two people meet. I have a relationship that is now eight months old with a man I met here. And I don't see how dating over the internet does work, because it is not dating is it?

I totally agree. It is a wonderful place to meet someone. Especially people like myself who are from small towns and also travel quite a bit.
Hello you handsome devil, indeed. Too many people blame meeting over the internet for the breakdown of a relationship and it is clear there is still a stigma attached to it. We are still people aren't we? We can either make a go of it or blame the fact that we met over the internet, it is still a relationship if two people want it to be one.
Yep..internet dating does work for me because it teaches me how to be persistent in the face of getting rejected repeatedly. It also teaches me how to be "diplomatic" when being approached by a not-so-model(yes..i am talking about fat women)like woman by telling them that i am just too "thin" for them. the internet dating also teaches me how to "dodge" some brutal attacks from women when they call me a**hole, jerks and loser. It also teaches me how not to be "bored" of looking at the same pretty pciture of the same person again and again. I will be back again with more "lessons" to learn from internet dating. please stay tuned...

Internet dating also teaches me how to seperate the fake women from not-so-fake ones. It also teaches me how to tell some "lame" jokes just to make these women smile (yea..i know it sounds really pathetic). But truth must be told
