Yes, it does. I've seen some wonderful successes here on CS, and other sites also have been successful. It's just a matter of being open and patient. Nobody can walk through the door unless it's open.

One of my buddies met a woman on the internet believe it or not a Christian Singles Site.
He thought he had found true love, he married the woman helped raise her children, finished putting her through school, even set her up with a 401K retirement plan with his money!
What was his reward?
After she cleaned him out she threw him out of his own home, they are still going through their divorce!
She was more like a Black Widow Spider than a wife!

Like everything else, it depends on what you and the other person are willing to put into it. There are millions of people online, it's not hard to find someone. However, it is very difficult to find the "right one" who wants to put time and energy into a friendship/relationship with you. Don't throw in the towel yet, keep searching - it's worth it! JMO
