Ashes: Rose, If Rio has an Argentine Birth Certificate, he is still an Argentine!!!! It does´nt matter if he has lived in Canada for 40 years, makes no difference.
Sommerauer71: They refuse to join the Euro. Very precious about their pound sterling...
I cannot really explain that one, abbiye, I think stingyness is more of a personal thing than a cultural one. Not to mention the country is very expensive.
yes sommer, you hit the nail on the head, about the pound sterling, most of them i know work so hard, but cant spend what they have worked for, even for themselves.you have to quarrel,to get something out of them
rioplatense: Rose: if somebody is black, I guess wouln't need a passport or any other piece of paper to prove that...
Pepople would realize that just by looking, right???
========================================
As when I look at you or I look at me in the mirrow, I can see some "old" people. I just have a young soul.
BUT IN MY COUNTRY NOBODY HAVE WRITTEN IN ANY DOCUMENT THE COLOUR OF OUR SKINS.
And they don't need to prove any thing, WHO THEY ARE.
Thanks to God the citizenship law in my country was adjusted just a few years ago. Now chitizenship is based on territotial birth not on "blood" origin, but with the Gypzies they are portuguese citizens since long ago.
A lot of the portuguese and the spanish Gypzies they just look like everybody...

pebblesbamban: My mom always talk me that the good man for a woman is the English men.. why....??... because they are more gentleman, Patience, more respectful and calm... since I was young.. always this man are in my thought ... perfect for me.. I can imagine him seat on the chair with a book on the hands and the pipe in his mouth... in cashmere....
Pebbles querida, I don´t like saying this, but, always a but, right? My Mum is a Brit, so were my Grandparents, the UK has changed, I have Family there, obviously. I do NOT mean to say they are bad in any sense, we can find bad people all over the World.....but, honestly, Men are not what my Grandfather was, a TRUE British Gentleman, Medals from the Wars etc...I have a Special one which was given to very few, and prefer not to mention it

I don't know the argentinian law, but the counting is not based in birth certificates. The "census" is based on the inhabitants in a country plus those registed in the Consulates.
I think in Venezuela and Argentina and Brazil they loose they original citizenship if they get a second one. Between Brazil and Portugal we have a special treat with a different soluction, but just for the two countries. WE have the same with Cape Verdian people, they can keep both.

No abbiye, it is the Scottish men that have the reputation for being mean with money. I can't sit here and let the English steal that reputation from us, be it good or bad, it's about the principle don't you know.
We keep our money in little bags called sporans which are worn next to our crown jewels, no one would attempt to take it from there, except a sly handed woman perhaps.

BOBANBOBAN: and his children..and grand children ???
His Children or whatever have their own Nationality, and can apply for his if they want to, it must come from a Father, not a Mum. I have two Nationalities also, called Dual Nationality.
