Yep, but I was referring to belief. Often people believe that witches and demons are intertwined. An earthly medium for evil spirits directs them for his/her own purposes. A person may not know how to help themselves other than through a "good" medium, i.e., priest or exorcism. I, of course, do not believe in this beyond that which I have already described.
Arealguy69: i do know some practising Wiccans and they are the nicest people ive ever met but i dont know enough about Wicca and witches to form an opinion, and im not going to speculate either...
i know a lot of wiccan people too. a lot of nurses are wiccan. they are very nice. i read a couple books about it and the concept of this religon is very nature based. it is not a scary religion at all. actually, i could buy into the concept myself.
I am completely gripped with this thread, I have notning to offer on the subject, but some fab stories, guys.
