Oh I LOVE tats-why I have 13 and a whole lot more planned...just cost a lot. I can't wait to get my angel wings on my back....but I must wait

Good luck with trying to cover the scar-most artists won't tattoo on scars because the tissue is hard and the ink doesn't take well. If you get it around the area it will draw more attention to it. I will love my wings thank you. They will be on both sides of my back from shoulder blade to hip I am looking forward to it. I want to get a zipper on the side of my ribs that's half zipped and the other half showing the ribs-most guys wouldn't like it but I wouldn't want to date them anyway....just me

its a good possibility talk to more than 1 artist and make sure you check out their profiles-you can check out their business license and make sure they are clean and respected.

I know a gf or bf's name is a bad idea for a tat, but what about a wife or husband's name? Would or should a future mate get upset by that?

I never would get a husbands name tattood just my personal opinion on that. What if you divorce and end up hating each other. Now I am widowed and did a memorial tattoo on calf of leg with his name that is different. We didnt part hating each other.

I have 4 2 on my back ( a celtic symbol and the North Star in memoriam of my Grandfather) a symbol for strength on my wrist and an aztec sun on the left side of my tummy for my son.
The thing I like about mine is that generally they are covered but I chose who sees them unless I am on the beach!!
But I do like them on men!!
Apparantley when I was young I used to write or draw on my arms and my Mum always said I would end up covered in Tattoos!! Hope she likes my latest additions.
I have some very bad scars on my right thigh (from dislocated hips when I was born) and I have spoken to several tattooists about having them covered and they have all said they can be done because the scars are so old. Fingers crossed!!! I am having cherry blossoms too! Well actually we will see as I am still getting over the pain of the North Star - wow I really forgot how much it hurts!!!

2 Tats seem to be something I understand, they might be the perfect compliments to eachother after all the needlework is done. Yin/yang and Yang/yin maybe. If not maybe just one with a cool one.
