I am old and i am never bitter. i guess i am just too lazy to be bitter. i would rather watch TV or sleep instead of wasting my energy in getting bitter

cause if we all were happy and cheerful like all them kids, they would all want to get old and they would all mature all too quick....

I think as you get along in life you are not as wide eyed and naive. When you are young most of us think we know it all when we really are clueless.
With experience you realize there are bad people and you see things as they are, and not how they are perceived.
Many have also made bad choices in life that havent' worked out and it's easier to blame others than to blame oneself.

U N 62 and have nothing to be bitter about. though looking and reflecting on my past, I see a lot of immaturity, many mistakes and alot chaos. However, it has been rich and full and never dull. I am comfortable with who I am today, not so sure if I can say that about the me from the earlier years. Howver, If I could do it all over I owuldnt change a thing. that includes my two marriages that ended in divorce. I am better off for all the experiences. The good the bad and the ugly are all apart of it, isnt it?
