Since I have lived in the house I rented a few years ago voices, have caught site of a man standing against the door leading down to the basement where all the action has been. My 2 sons have lived here and never experienced anything. Smelling perfume that would dissapate in moments, being woken up between 3 and 3:30 by someone taping on the front door with a key when no one was there. Heavy foot steps across and up and down the basement stairs, doors slamming. It was very disturbing when my little girl would also hear what I was hearing. My ex husband was coming up the basement stairs and was pushed back down the stairs and heard voices that kept him awake when he was sleeping on my couch.
Skeptics can say what they want to, but a former tenant died of a drug overdose in one of the stalls outside. It could have been him. I know what I have experienced, but I am not afraid.
I am not arrogant enough to believe that there's only a finite amount of things. I question, I am skeptic, but I will not deny the possiblilty. Expecially when there are things I have seen that I cannot adequetly explain with the mundane.

I had a weird experience once in a house that I lived in.I woke up in the night to see a man dressed from the 1940's stood by the side of my bed.I wasn't afraid just shocked as he slowly faded.
I found out afterwards thzt there were two cottages built on the site originally and they were bombed in the war.Now I feel that it was someone who lived there before me.

One night shortly after my father died, my mother woke up during the night to see him by the bed smiling at her.
My brother and sister-in-law had a house in up state Vermont that they swear is haunted. My brother says he was going thru the livingroom to go outside when he saw a woman sitting on the couch. He said he could see the pattern of the couch thru her. Their pets would be laying on the floor and move their heads as if watching something or someone walking by. One of my nieces had her bedroom in the basement. One night she went to bed and heard someone telling her she had to do something. Thinking it was her sister she said she would do it in the morning. Then she realized her sister hadn't returned home from work yet and went upstairs to sleep on the couch. From the couch, she could see the basement door and saw a light coming up the stairs. Before getting to the top, it disappeared. My brother and his wife had gone to the family camp for the weekend when this happened. That same night, my brother saw a light going around the outside of the camp. Another niece, the sister of the one mentioned above had a picture taken on the school bus of her and a friend. In the picture, it showed her, her friend and a little boy in the seat behind them. When the picture was taken, the seat behind them was empty. Another time, she was babysitting at someones house. The little girl walked into the room and pointed at a spot next to my niece on the couch. On the couch next to her was the little boy from the picture.
One time after my father died, my son was home by himself at the apartment we were living in. He was in the bedroom when he heard the front door open and close. Thinking it was me he walked out of the bedroom to ask why I was home from work early. When he walked out of the bedroom, my father was standing at the front door.
I will swear that I have seen my father at the family camp since his death. I haven't seen him straight on, it was more like a glimpse from the corner of my eye.
Plabebos, psychology, whatever. Ghosts dont exist albeit energies do... matter cannot be created or destroyed so auras and spirits and energies to me would exist. Theres no way to prove or especially prove to everyone else these things. All I can say is be perceptive...

Well said.
I have told of my Family's experience on this topic involving my Mother's Favorite Antique Lamp being moved, in Early posts.
Short Version:
When She called a Family Meeting, where she told us for the Final time to leave it where She placed it.
While She was lecturing us, it moved to the table 90 Degrees away, on the opposite wall while we all watched. Dad then said," Well, we now know how the lamp is getting moved and it was not by the Kid nor Me, But it does offer better light t here even though it is not in as protected a space."
Mom never complained again and the whole Family left the lamp where the Ghost put it.
Her words of this is the Final Time . . . . . Well, yep it was just not the way she thought.
