scousedon: That is more like it, talking about the "big bang" now we are cooking
Big Bang is just another religion. It has to be believed by faith. It has its prophets and patriarchs. It has its dogma. It has its creation story and its apocalypse.
It has its believers (you) and its agnostics (me).
But go ahead. It's your religion. Who am I to interfere with your beliefs?

virgosingle: Yes if he did not the man and women would have starved to death ,the garden of Eden was made befor Adam and Eve
Umm, you do have a point. But it could have been the start where he sent us Manna instead of later.
But, IMHO, he had to make us last or we would have been getting in the way and giving Him unsolicted advice on how to do things. Or asking Why? just like the little kids we can all be from time to time.
Oh. my. .Um I guess i'd better pick up JD's left behinf Flack jackets, etc. (I do get a um weird, yet logical opionion from time to time.)

In England "Big Bang" or certainly where I am from is a euphanism for a "good lay" Hence me trying to steer this away from yet another religious thread that seems in the inappropriate place.

Sorry, I disagree Ray, Big Band is a scientific theory ... no more.
As far I know it doesn't have any connection with any Religions whatsoever.
Konigsberg: Are they from parallel Universe? And how do they survive Big Bang or was it them who caused it?
Sorry Ray .. we are talking about bacterias, parallel Universes, String theory and timeless Cosmos and such Do not confuse us with testaments and Gospels, please
If your question refers to the Habiru (aka Habiru, aka Hapiri, aka Sa Gaz) I'd suggest you take a week or so and study up, that might answer your question.
As for string theory, and its predecessor, unified field theory, its essentially mental m**turbation. And if you really like that "off the deep end" sort of pseudo-science babble you should check out "quantum physics" which (believe it or not) is just kabbala disguised in pseudo-scientific jargon (challenge me to prove it and I gladly will).

I agree also, nothing but scienctific theory, But alas any religious fruitcake refutes all to do with science, would make them have to think and face reality.

It is not a religious thread .. it seems like lean to become a scientific discussion

...kind of explains a lot of the 'scinetific garbage' as has been called...in a very nice and easy manner so even the most daft may understand what we really are.....

So right you are ... I am of as well. It was a pleasure to converse with you and the rest of people.
I even don't want to waste my time on whatching that site.

False.
Anything that has to be believed by faith is a religion. Especially if it touches on the origin of the universe and the forces that control events.
You'd be amazed how little evidence there is to support the big bang theory.
Initially the theory was that the big bang scattered all the matter of the universe and that gravity would eventually slow the expansion to a standstill and then pull all matter back together to finish in a big crunch.
But then they discovered that not only is the expansion not slowing down, it is accelerating. That discovery made them trash all their theories and invent new ones. But the new ones are just as fragile as the old.
The so-called "echo of the big bang" a sort of background static hum that can be "heard" throughout the universe could have a million other explanations and doesn't "prove" the big bang at all. But it sounds good.
That's the way this sort of speculative pseudo-scientific religion works. Theories morph into dogma and pretty soon it is preached as fact.
Objectivity is an elusive quality. Just rejecting dogma from one source doesn't make one objective. One has to weigh the truth and falsehood from all sources, and continually compare, question, reason, etc.
You might think I'm a gullible fool. And I might think the same about you. But that doesn't matter. What matters is that we are sincere and objective in our quest.

gozoman, konigsberg, drbombay, bettyboop, cj,steve, thank you for your thoughts.
Took my son round to see him for the last time. It's a blessing really. He became bedridden yesterday and my two sons carried him downstairs, he weighed five stone and had lost the will to live.

R.I.P. John
He truly was a good man.
That's the main cause for people to die. When they don't want to live anylonger they die. It might be have been his time and he knew it. Let him rest from the Earth tribulations and be at Peace.
I am so sorry. I bet you have a lot of great memories to keep about him

Yes, all who knew him do.
And you know what, I have no idea of his religious beliefs.
