So must be almost no women behind too many tree's in Wyoming?

Its the other way around, There are too few trees in Wyoming.

Wrong! Everybody thinks they're "nice"... few ever bother to take a good long look at themselves in the mirror, or a good long look at how they act/behave towards others... so there are probably tons of "nice" men and women everywhere, but you probably wouldn't want to know or date them.

Now the ratio of single women to single men in an area is another thing entirely (and what I thought this topic was about when I saw it)... where I live, the Houston Texas area, there are around 70,000 MORE single men than single women according to a CBS news story I saw a few years ago! Everywhere I go around here there's plenty of couples and single males, but realatively few single females (who aren't like BBW's or pregnant with their ex's love child... very "nice" I'm sure). My observations are that most places here there can be found around 10 single men for every 1 single woman... it's an impossible ratio to work with. I feel totally hopeless these days.

Oh and holidays are about the worst time of the year to be single, yet again. I've never had a girlfriend to shop for a Christmas gift for, or a Valentine's Day gift for either for that matter. It is depressing, with all the advertising on TV showing people shopping for their husdbands and wives and boyfriends and girlfriends... it's like sticking a hot poker into an open wound every time. I've always been on the outside looking in...

I find this to be about the most depressing time of the year in fact.

So true, especially if you're invited to celebrate christmas where you're the only one single in the room, you rather stay home alone watching tv than see all your friends with their partner exchanging gifts, kissing and hugging.

And how does this pertian to singles?

Thanks! I am really trying to find and meet a nice person but I don't know for how long should I wait. But I was amazed that there are more single men here than in my country. In my country men get married before they turn 30 and women got married before they turn 28 whether they are ready or not. And people are going to teased you or making fun of you if you're over 30 and still single. They would think something wrong with you or you're difficult why nobody want you. O the worst thing they would think is maybe I'm gay. And it's really sucks!! Sometimes I don't want to talk to some people I know way back home because the first thing they ask me is if I finally got married or how many kids I have.

I guess singles should learn Chinese???

Yuppers. I agree completely. Also virtually every single woman on that site has children from her previous relationships... every one of them! If you're uncomfortable being around other people's kids (like I am), this does not work well for you.

I want somebody to go rollerblading with at the park, or boating and waterskiing with at the lake, or to share a bottle of wine with in the hottub on my backporch on New Year's Eve... but that ain't gonna happen if history is any indicator.

Is this all there is? Is there nothing more?
