Tis also a story and I dont know how true it is... but if your doc prescribes pain killers and you become addicted to them... how would you class this then???? and then if your doc ceases the prescriptions and you go looking for harder stuff... whos fault is it then?

yes all the same morphine has opium in it and thats pure herion the docs give u that 2 in sum cases ....its the docs falt in sum cases but they are just tryn 2 help you get better they should have a program 2 help people wine there way of the drugs their given ,,, fact my own mother wen i lookn her press shes a drug store lol its not funny shes a tablet for every ting sore back take a pain killer ..feeln a bit down take a xzanx lol i doint no any more i have enoug of the drug talk i need my herbs quick

If someone takes drugs then ok unless they are underage which includes alcohol but anything apart from alcohol and maybe weed (jurys out on that one) then that's a choice of a mature person.
After saying that though, I think we should leave laws as they are in whatever country we are in because I sometimes smoke weed and probably drink more than I should but I know the consequences but then again I don't touch hard drugs ie coke/opiates/crack etc etc because I know the consequences, not from the law but from education and my own personal values.
As contrite as it sounds it's also true unless anyone can come up with a different meaningful contribution, education education education.

Theres always a starting point Merri, from your example to a 15 yr old whos dad gives him heroin for toothache, to the kids who try it cos their mates say its good - whatever the start point, its not an easy way of life to escape from.

If only it were that simple. Its a massive step first to get to the no takers point. There are very few rehab centers and the waiting lists and entry criteria for those are prohibitive then if they actually do get to use rehab, they arent suitably prepared for the resumption of life back among all the temptations that were left behind - if friends and partners are still using its very easy to slip back into sadly - its a bit of a catch 22 with these highly addictive drugs - just look for instance at alcohol and tobacco and how many times people give those up before finally, if ever, kicking the habits.........

Everyones system is different. Pure bloods have a harder time with chemicals in the body.
If you have an additive system than you will be addicted.
The medical system is pushing prescription to people who's body can not handle them.
