it's statistically improbable.

the fact that we are here (evolution being it's own miracle), is an astrinomical odd beaten by absolute accident.

the actual odds of it happening repeatedly or even once more through out the universe, i doubt it.

There actually 7 known aliens, lizards, grey, plaedians, sirians etc. Millions in arizona and around other sacred sites have seen the ships. Whether you see them or not depends on your vibrational ability to do so.

They are also speaking to us.

This Bashar has literally hundreds of videos that you can check for validity of answers...on YouTube of course.

Yep, they are here .

IN case you missed it you could read the answer the messege Carl Sagan sent out to space in the 70's. It was answered in the Chilbolton Arecebo crop circle ...google it

I hate to point this out but you have the statistics the wrong way around.

The conditions of life, and the sheer numbers of planets around suns in myriad galaxies make the odds against being life in this or myriad universes absolutely a cast iron certainty.

Sentient life in our universe is another question, but theres meteorites from Mars on the planet that contained micro bacterial life from Mars, so at one point Mars, our neighbour was capable of supporting life.

The key to life appears to be water in lifeforms we understand, and water appears to be on several bodies in our solar system at least, and the biggest question really is Titan, and what lies under that ocean we cannot explore given our level of science.

And if you want something to read on the subject, perhaps write to the American Intelligence Agencies, that will get you enough material to take up your next few years reading all the declassified documents.

Maybe they or the French Scientists who released their official report on UFO's or the Ministry of Transport in Canada, and request the papers and evidence and then you might not quite believe everything in the skies are weather balloons, swamp gas and misidentified phenomena.

I think you have it the wrong way round, chuck - the stats are overwhelmingly in favour of life elsewhere, from the number of stars in the known universe....
I hear people discuss the fact that they need to find planets where there is water and oxygen, "neccessities for life" but surely these are only neccessities for life as we know it ..
Who is to say that there is not a planet full of silicone based life forms who are also convinced that life has to be silicone based.. ??

There is so much that we dont know - we are an arrogant race to assume that we know everything, and that sentient life HAS to be like us ...

I don't believe we are the only ones in this universe.

Thinking we are the only ones in the universe would be comparable to being in the middle of Manhatten and thinking you are the only one there when there are literally millions of people around you.

I doubt very much if there are even three people of CS who has even read 2 books on the subject which number in the thousands.

Guess i'd be the really well read person on the forums, and if i remember rightly i have signed books by Jacques Vallee, Allen Hynek,Timothy Good, Stanton Friedman, Robert Temple and probably more than a few others.

More interestingly, i've a copy of MIT's symposium on the subject, along with many others works....which shall we say is probably one of the best libraries in the UK on the subject.

That and a lifelong interest in aviation, an interest in science and psychology and military projects and various things i wont bang on about will definitely exclude me from the CRANK bracket.

are you calling us to account for personal belief? or are you trying to insinuate that our intelligence isn't on par with what you personally set for others?
Why? because we choose what to read, research and study, what occupies OUR time and intrests us?

Point blank you say that the discussion so far is media fed and just plain expected from uneducated persons.
Wake up call, the material your putting up on a pedestal is also media, preapproved before mass publication.

It might be useful to know who your directing your comments to.

You are entitled to believe anything, that the moon is made of cheese, that Global warming is a fabrication by the Illumaniti or the Pope Dresses up in womens clothes and goes jogging with Elvis and Lord Lucan.

The fact remains it may not have any credence or evidence to support if they do in fact have any link for the above.

There are various spiritual/religious movements that adhere to teachings and wisdom from channeled aliens/entities. It is somewhat considered a close encounter of the 5th kind and to my understanding, holds many religious implications---transformation, salvation, and perfection. It's a small group of followers out there and their spiritual teachers (channeled entities) vary and propose similar and different views, and from what I have observed, is that the general tone of their beliefs seems to be somewhat evangelical. I think it's interesting and amusing at the same time...especially the 2012 movement since it is heavily saturated with heavy religious tones rather than facts.

Medsummer09: not the strange people living next door, the ones that come from another planet.

Why do people arrogantly assume that we are not the first sentient life forms in the universe? Then again, there are plenty of people who arrogantly assume the universe was made for humans.

As for abiogenesis (life forming out of inanimate chemicals) on other planets happening the same way it did on ours, it's nearly inevitable one waits long enough. But that doesn't mean it has happened or has to happen.

Think of it as coin flipping. If you flip a coin four times, the chances of four heads in a row is 1/16. If you flip a coin twenty times, the chances of four heads in a row is more than 50%. If you flip the coin 1000 times, the chance of four heads in a row is better than 90%.

For life to occur is like flipping a million heads in a row out of an infinite number of flips. It is possible that it will never happen again (since it did happen once, on Earth), but the chance of it happening grows as the number of flips increases. Or in the case of the universe, as its size and number of stars and planets grows. The Earth is a lucky occurrence, with life happening early, only around 1.5 billion years after its formation, which was around 10 billion years after the Big Bang.

And for those who talk about life, it doesn't mean the life has to know how to speak, let alone travel in space. Proteins are alive, and they don't even have DNA; the simplest living organisms on Earth have only around 40,000 atoms, not the roughly 10^25 atoms (10,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000) that a human adult has.

And no, I don't believe space aliens have visited the Earth. Even if they exist, the distances involved and the energy required to travel that distance make highly improbable.
