Barak Obama has used some near identical quotes from previous speeches made by the Governor of Mass. Does this bother you? Do you feel that this impacts his intregrity?
Often in political speech writing, polls are taken on the effects that certain words and certain phrases have on the audience. Do you feel that he is using these common quotes in some unethical manner, in that they might have been polled for effect earlier?
Or is no big deal. He is still a dynamic speaker. With solid ideas for the change of America. That his message is resonating in the country. That his message convey what American should be...no matter where the orginal source of the material came from.

How many politicians even know the original source of their words... they use speech writers. If someone has found an eloquent way of saying what you want to say... I don't have an issue with borrowing the occasional phrase providing it is a reflection of how you actually feel.

Yes, he probably uses the same phrases others have used. We use similar quotes, idioms, euphemisms everyday. We all borrow words and get inspiration from others every now and then.
Since we all use words we didn't invent, i'd say, give the man a break.
Ladies, I think that it is a pretty 'fair' poll. It offers a range of opinion choices from being totally negative to being totally positive. I explained the situation as clearly without taking one side or position the best I could.
So how am I on the man back (criticial of him)?
I did a similar poll on Huckabee when he had his gaff on the illegal immigration issue and Pakistan. So this is not about one party or that party politics. It is about seeing seeing where we stand with a politician that have occassional a gaff or a ethnics issue.
So if size matters.....so does fairness
But your statement for the Senator is admirable and seems committed. Just have those same commitments if and when he wins the election and the office. Because if you walk away then when it gets hot.....and it will......your commitment to his Presidency can be questioned.
i suggest you find any post that said I was a Hillary supoorter, rather than play in the park. I have never supported Hillary...Bill, yes, Hillary, no.
I don't know what the sarcasm is all about, though! Again...it appears that on CS, if you are not an O'Bama supporter, you are of questionable value.
Sorry, lady, I think for myself! I would like O'Bama if he had more experience AND if he included me in his agenda!. But don't call me a loser and say I am a Hillary supporter without knowing where I stand!!

Please don't generalize " Ladies" I am a Clinton supporter but my post reveals the way I feel about the topic of using others words regardless of whether it was about Obama, Clinton, McCain....
In response to: By the way, I know who Paul Harvery was
LMAO...
At least it's not all of the ladys just backing Hillary just because she is a woman. Kind of removes the gender card. I'm thinking its all going to get nasty real quick because Hillary knows she headed down the toilet. I just hope Obama has a lot of body guards..I can almost hear the shots already. If he stays alive he will continue to kick butt.
Hillary is hurt by Bill, people just don't want to put him back in office, you get one, you get both. And she is looking like she is so exhausted!
Mc Cain- 1 is too old, 2 sounds just like Bush. I don't think we should just cut and run from Iraq, but we need to start pulling out slowly so that the New Iraq Gov.. knows to start doing their job, they are just kicking back and letting our troops die for them. ( think they are smart that way,, more Americans die this way). Is this their aganda?! I think so.
As for OP..Obama is doing right,, Just the Obama haters are Desperate for anything they can use against him,, If they can't come up with something real they try to fabricate stuff.
i didnt post as such, and i didnt notice but one mention that may have been taken as an emotional response...(frustrated and tired of such remarks if thats considered emotional)
no one attacked the OP yet he seems to keep thinking the women arent capable of clear thinking? or the ideas in response have been not on topic?
perception is an interesting thing.
and as far as thinking CS is more or les for any candidate thats just ridiculous and unfounded
just another boo hoo perception
seems to me the men are a bit more emotional in this thread
