If people recognize who it refers to here, that is just one more sign of the amplitude of the problem. Dude's board behavior is far beyond the norms and I think most people here are fed up with it.

I dont want to get bogged down in the semantics of this nor do I want bad feelings between you and i but my thought is that whatever your feeling is on this, that you should take it up with him in private mail or at least on one of the threads which offend you.
What I find offensive is personal attack in public forum....... challenge the issues, not the integrity or rights of the person raising them.........

To debate an "issue" one defines the issue and then there is an open discussion in the same thread with many different voices and opinions voiced until just about everything has been said.

If this were a private matter, then, as you suggest, a private discussion might resolve it. But the issue in question is public board behavior and everybody has been affected by that behavior.
I think the only possible way to resolve the question is public debate with input from everybody interested, including yourself.
Just to clarify what the issue really is.

You neglect to put a time stamp on your thoery which I know goes back quite some time - compare that to some of the jokes threads where people put each new joke in a sererate thread - thoser ones top your Dube accusation in a couple of days, wheres your complaints on those - I reiterate, take your personal gripes to private mail......
