OUTRAGEOUS: America = continent Europe = Continent Asia = Continent Australia/NZ = Continent S.America = sub-continent Scandinavia = Geographical Region
So. That leaves 2 countries: Russia and Canada. I think Canada is free, and with that freedom there comes responsibility and I think Canadians handle their freedom well... Russia is more licentious - abusive of their freedom.
felixis99: except that England is also a country -
We have a similar situation here in Canada with Quebec'. A "Nation" within a Nation. But most out west do not even regard Quebec as a valid part of Canada....except when elections come around.
The answer depends on what you mean by a "free country".
If you mean the freedom of speech and freedom of travel then the only countries that do not have it are Cuba, N Korea and maybe China to some extent. Maybe some other countries in Africa or Asia that have military dictatorships now, but I am not sure if any of them have it now.
There is absolute freedom of speech in America, Europe, Russia, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, S America, Scandinavia.

Woops! I would take Russia our of your list. Absolute freedom of speech is not really their speciality.

You're free to be shot without recourse to law (because there isn't any outside the capital) You're free to shoot whoever you like, just drop a gun near them and call it self defence! I mean what aren't you free to do?

I'm not free enough to drop my pants at an obama Dim rally and yell FIRE?
BlainX: New World Order- Which country is now the most free?
Why? Australia/NZ
We are two countries. (adjustments needs to be made, (new order is needed here) I smile...
Now, want to know whats on my mind? One is, take a bigger look at the map. Peace be with you, Kia ora lots of aroha to you. (All the way from New Zealand, unattached and free) waters beautiful too, come take a swim sometime. Nice post. Sophia
I think some of the refugees trying to get to Australia might disagree with you there. Not sure about how NZ treats refugees from, for example Pacific Island groups.
All things considered, freedom and America don't belong in the same sentence. The freedoms we are alloted are an illusion. Our country is not controlled by its people, no matter how democratic our government claims to be.
Steve5721: Sorry love, but England is a country in it's own right. 4 Countries make up the United Kindom, then we have Great Britain which is 3 countries...plus outlaying islands.
They sure like to keep it confusing up (and over) there!
