singleguy1979: i do not have much luck with dateing i just wanna hear from you
You look like a handsome guy,-and what really counts is you!!!Wheelchair or not,-that won´t affect your heart&personality.. And besides,-everyone have their "crosses" to bear...... Yes,-I´m damn sure many women would like your company......
I was on holiday in the Canary islands with my daughter a few months ago. While on the beach, a guy was with his girlfriend who was in a wheel chair. They seemed very much in love and this guy couldn't do enough for her. Wouldn't even accept any help pulling the chair through the sand when they left. She was very pretty too. After seeing them together i though to myself, yep, why not. Never judge a book by its cover. We're all only human.
My sister in law was in a wheelchair some times, she was one of those wheelchair basketball players for Australia. Anyway, she used to go to the beach in her chair, as part of her workout, to build upper body strength..
thewall2: Of course..see that's what bothers me about this joint sometimes..people wanna come across as being so nice all the time..and they're not.
They're dishonest.
Alot of people say they would, but when the time comes, alot of people aren't even aware of the responsibility it takes to take care of somebody in a wheelchair.
Talk is cheap, but I UNDERSTAND,PEOPLE want to look good.

Errr...assuming that somebody in a wheel chair is less able to look after themselves and is less likely to look hot than somebody not in a wheel chair?
I'm sorry, mate, but I have greater priorities regarding relationships than whether somebody uses wheels, or not.

I actually dated a man last month that was well not always in a wheel chair but half the time he was. He had one leg amputated and his prosthesis caused him a lot of problem so yeah big part of the time he was in a wheel chair. I really liked him but he also turned out to be a big play boy and had too many other females on the side(3)not counting me, well that wasn't for me. I wasn't about to become just another one of his conquest, plus he was on the lookout for more. So just keep being honest about everything and sooner or later You will run into a nice woman who won't have a problem with it sometime, cause let me tell you all the other ladies I work with wanted to jump my dates bones, Ha ha wheelchair or not..

Ive been pretty lucky most of my life, as most of the injuries I've received doing crazy things have been minor, but the results from some of those encounters could have gone bad and put me in a wheelchair or worse, so that with reasoning in mind, I'd have to think real hard about how to answer the OP's question one way or another. I would like to think a woman would answer yes they would if they liked for the guy enough, but who knows

But someone being in a wheelchair does not mean they cannot take care of themselves. They may have some mobility issues, that's all. Maybe they can do everything else. My colleague who is in a wheelchair even drives a car. he gave me a ride once. I think it will be easier to deal with someone in a wheelchair than someone who has mental issues which you may not easily tell unless they tell you themselves, at least someone in a wheelchair you see the disability.
I went to the gym yesterday someone came there in a wheelchair, he got out of the wheelchair and walked to a machine to use it to exercise. He is in a wheelchair because walking long distances makes him tired too tired.

And if something did happen to you once you were a couple or got married that she would not dump you and run if you did get hurt that bad.
