Jeez I hardly think that people go missing for a month because they've found the love of their lives on here
I would think there are dozens of reasons why someone wouldn't be online for a month or more

Yeh you are, but it is the custom in Finland to get legless, in the safety of home though for me, though many Finnish drink in bars and get taken home by the fuzz.

well frankly with some people around here (thankfully a few) I wouldn't mind seeing that... maybe 6 months or more likely a year would be lots better!!

No we are NOT all here looking for a date. Some of us are here just to enjoy the forums, kill time and maybe make friends, but if the person has not been here for over a month could mean they don't have time. They are busy with other things and then the forums are not that interesting lately - too much infighting and stupid threads will keep some people away from CS altogether. Just avoid such a person, move on to the next. I am here often because I work from home and on the internet a lot.
Would you want to communicate with someone just because they are here everyday but are married? There are several here who are in relationships or are not looking.

Sometimes stuff happens in life. It makes it hard to have the time to devote to just looking on a website fot "the one". Sometimes people don't put all their eggs in one basket and like to look other places too. I know that if their profile is still up I can always email or send them a flower and alot of times their personal email will alert them that someone has emailed them. Have done that before and he come back on line and emailed me back
