Swissblueeyes: I guess I'm the only one who voted other.. For some reason I think the harp sounds very pretty when played by someone who knows how to use it..
And I'm the other other but I have a different favorite...the sax, but then again I love the blues
Swissblueeyes: woody allen the actor has a small blues band that travels to other countries..I watched a movie he had of him and his blues band..It was pretty good..
The best sax player I ever heard was Aaron Neville's brother (the Neville brothers band) and he was fantastic
Swissblueeyes: Ever been to Louisiana? I hear that is suppose to be where the blues originally came from?
No but I'd love to go to New Orleans which is where the Neville family grew up. A tremendously musical family and I believe that New Orleans is the home of the blues. I wouldn't have thought that Woody Allen could get in to other countries to play with his blues band
