Piers: bush didnt have a huge oil spill to deal with, that obama was against off shore drilling in the first place, lets account for how much money that mess costed.
No,he only had Katrina and 9/11! Nothing, nothing at all!
9/11 was bushs fault lol, how can you have planes that are being monitored 24/7 every inch they move through the sky, and not have any kind of defense for it? The plane that hit the twin towers wasnt even in the same state when it took off. How many hours do you need to prevent something like that? should be minutes to react to that kind of situation. On top of that they were the only two black boxes never found in history. And dont get me started in bushs investments in halibuton, The only time an investment made by a tank and ammo company makes you money is when you use tanks and ammo. Even if it wasnt a conspiracy, who the hell morally invests in weapons of mass destruction.
But your right about katrina, nothing could of prevented that. However you dont think that katrina still effects the economy in 2011? All the problems just carry over to the next president, thinks dont fix them selves that fast economically and thats where people have to be more understanding. The only trickle down theory i see is the trickle down of problems from one president to the next. Even if obama doesnt win the next term you dont think the new president will have a mess to deal with?
Conrad73: Yep,and the Federal Government paid for it,before they got BP to,aw before Obama extorted 20 Billion from them! For a spill that practically cleaned itself!
All the Feds did was putting Toxic Dispersants into the Gulf, which didn't do Diddlysquat in helping!
Conrad73: So you think Tort-reform isn't necessaey? Who you think does pick up the Tab of those Insane Awards by Juries, and those inflated Malpractice-Insurance Premiums that are the Result of those Awards? Yes you guessed it,JV,you the Customer!
I believe if you do some objective research you will find that malpractice claims account for only a small percentage of increased costs of health care.

hmmm, why else does an asperin cost $10.00 ?....
yea, i'm sure there are other things to consider...a hospital has a huge overhead...but malpractice worrys, i would think, is the biggest overhead they've got...well, that and a new set of golf clubs every month...

You may be right. Bush ended up getting stuck with terrorism that Clinton didn't address in the 90's.

a quarter million dollars or better every year just for Malpractice-Insurance really doesn't matter either?

Just turn off their unique Signature-Radar,and they become INVISIBLE!

the only plane/jet in the world that doesnt show up on radar are stealth bombers, i dont think normal planes have the same kind of paint on them. And if it is actually turned of manually on the plane it self, there should be a clear indication of something wrong.

Even stealth shows up on radar. just has a much smaller signature. Something akin to a bird. It's not the paint either it's the angles even navy ships use the tech. Look the the Arleigh Burke DDG 51 - class and the Oscar Austin DDG 79 - class Destroyers.

We are talking about the Plane's very own Transponder, turn it off,and the Plane will be INVISIBLE to the Airtraffic-Controller! Exactly that happened on 9/11!

Piers: i just read up on the bombers, yeah its the design, i thought i heard something about the paint though, maby that was for the inferred detection.
The paint will absorb a very small amount of the radar signal but not enough to make it invisible.
Back years ago when I was active duty navy I ran small boats for BUDS training. They were a 36' boat called Seafox. They had a radar sig about the size of a 7-8' dingy. The design and the paint called elephant skin was did it. Those were one of the most dangerous boats ever designed. The were prone to act like a torpedo if you came off a wake just right. Had a few people killed in them. They would go under and the cabin would collapse in on you crushing you. I was in charge of the last one in the navy and decommed it. Stripped it then took the hull to the landfill and watched it get ran over with the dozer.
